EVERY Pokerstars spin and go within 30 seconds has 2 viewers appear and stay for the duration of the match from .50-100$. I want an explanation from management why. There is consistently up to 5 viewers for every 2X game and i have played thousands. I have not had ONE game without a viewer. If security is this poor that this is indeed datamining than this should be shared with shareholders that games offered on there investment are NOT being properly policed.

Spins are a conspiracy. I'm about 100% sure poker stars is behind this kids toy spin'yos which is remarkably similar to spin n gos. Clearly a joint venture with fisher price .... Getting them hooked early. No shame poker stars.... No shame.... Smh

I actually sent Stars an email about this one month ago and they never got back to me. I have wondered this myself over and over again. I turned search off and looked if my opponents had it turned off as well, and I kept having viewers every time after 2-3 hands. At first I thought it were backers who kept tracking their horses or something. In the end I just an email about how it is possible to track a game or players when all have their searched turned of?

I did notice some difference at the micro's where there were sometimes no viewers or they came after few more hands.

Never thought of datamining, but makes sense. How does it work? in order to see a viewer, there must be an account behind this that is opening the table? How can this be difficult for Stars to prevent?

While I appreciate the time you took to construct this possibility, the time for players to take responsibility for answering and policing Pokerstars games should be OVER. I want a manager, and I doubt Keith will suffice, to take responsibility to this question and answer it. For me and ALL the past, current and future players who are risking money to play what is clearly not a fair playing field.

Name changes should be allowed. Of course, that still disadvantages the true fun players that have no idea that there is such a thing as datamining, HUDs, etc. so they don't bother to change them.

Anonymous is probably the way to go while still allowing you to keep an image up if you want, but what would become of the Russian economy now that oil prices have collapsed if poker winnings and withdrawals were also curtailed by such measures?

Seriously though, its obviously users data mining info and stars obviously knows about it because people have brought up this issue in the past many times, with nothing changing. So its either stars themselves behind it or they sold the right to some company to mine data. Take your pick but I assure you its one of the two.

It is datamining 500%. Pokerstars HAS acknowledged this indirectly with a boilerplate response regarding datamining as a whole. Responses regarding this have been given 9 months ago. The situation has NOT improved, byt has gotten WORSE. I want to know why when Pokerstars management has boilerplate responses claiming they arte working hard to stop bla bla bla. It's obviously a serious problem that Pokerstars are unable to stop. I want to know WHY this has gone on for so long and is getting worse and I want an official statement by a manager that specifically that is why there are viewers in the spin and go. This is unacceptable for a publicly traded enterprise. Players are gathering info IN THE OPEN VISIBLY for over a year now and these " don't worry we got it" bs responses don't cut it anymore.

What was funny is after I busted the guy on the right the viewing went to 4...then 5 then 6....why for a $7 game??

I emailed them months ago about this. They replied that they were 'looking into it'.

Clearly it had made no difference.

There is no issue with them just making Spin & Gos anonymous, even if they prefer to keep every other game showing screen names.
It would be a simple change to make, but they don't care.

Honestly, I have a more enjoyable experience playing on Bovada. Anonymous tables is the way to go, imo. Its just more relaxing and opens up the action a bit more
