10 unfortunate events totaling $1758
- 2 scams for $1200 by Bannnnnnn or hijacker Ehelsinki.
- hehateme315 lost $30 - FT reversed an approved transfer after he sent.
- Dream lost $105 to "Marketplace Approved" trickster Garcia055.
- each the 6 remaining losses for $423 was victim error - generally careless or nonexistant searching followed by the transfer of money to clearly unreliable traders.

I have Mike Haven's approval to ask some of the regular traders (and others) in the Person to person transfers thread to Forward any suspicious trade request PMs to me.

Many scams start and end in the PMs and are posted about when it's too late.

A sketchy poster such as WorldCupFever was warned about in the thread but still got someone to ship him $50 after he PMed over 60 people.

9 scams by 6 scammers for a total of $695

unlike other months each of these losses was very preventable
justii11 scammed twice for $70 having never achieved PM status
my2+2sn and c9h13no3 made off with $175 from 3 traders. Neither of these scammers had ever posted in the trade thread. (AOL and PM fishing success)
willwork4fewdz, aleksilia and ReQHU(twice) made $450 from 4 2+2ers who ignored/missed warnings that were clearly posted and easily searchable.

Oct 14 - $200 theft by week-old account fknregs claiming to be a well known coach
Oct 17 - $300 theft by 3 wk-old PMing Grindinprops, no psts no trades
Oct 18 - $100 theft by Muggleborn - PMing scammer with no posts, no trades
Oct 28 - $400 theft by deskstar - PMing scammer, no posts, no trades
