Just because someone may list a reputable user as a reference does not mean that the reference vouches for that individual. Scammers will say anything and impersonate users via Skype, Facebook, etc.

You should always do your due diligence and confirm identities for users through 2p2 and beyond as 2p2 accounts are getting compromised lately.

Any reason not to accept PayPal from a reputable member of the community? I'm familiar that any dispute process can freeze the funds though of course I don't expect that to happen.

The reason that users are not permitted to use Paypal in the transfers thread, per its OP, is particularly because a transfer can be reversed up to many weeks after the transaction.

I'm hope this is the right thread to post this in... There is an imawhale26 impersonator out there. The impostor is using the sn "imawhale26." Notice the added period. Confirmed with Shane that this is not his first attempt.

AVOID "Letsdoit123" That is his SN on ACR. I sent $75 and he sent ACR then he scammed me on the 2nd transaction.

not sure what you mean - ACR's cashouts are decent - checks in a few weeks, bitcoin in a few days (i don't remember how long the other methods take)

if you have ACR money that you want to swap off, then it depends on what payment methods you can receive - some people receive bank transfer, some people do venmo, bitcoin etc

if you read through the internet poker transfer thread you can get a sense of what people are trading

Hello P2P Family! I am new to the trading aspect so I was hoping my Poker Family/Friends could help me out with some questions I have...

I'm a US Player and I have a small amount of money on my Neteller account, obviously I can't deposit using the Neteller method, I'm waiting for my Net+ Card to come in the mail, unfortunately that will be about another week and a half, not the end of the world to wait for but I figured why not see what other options I have until then. What would my fellow community suggest as far as any trading options (example: I trade $25 from Neteller for a player transfer onto my Intertops or Juicy Stakes account? Is there even a point for me to do this or should I just wait? I know this may be a dumb question but I am not ashamed to ask, also does anyone know of any poker rooms for US Players other than ACR, BCP, Intertops, Juicy Stakes or True, unfortunately I'm not in NJ so I cant play on the US Stars, Party or Full Tilt.

Also just for future reference, what are the best options as far as trading funds in the Online Poker Community?

Although he has been banned, feel that its worth mentioning that user Chummer45 is a scammer, and I am a victim of his. I was in an ACR to Venmo transaction with him in which he sent a Venmo to me and I sent him the ACR in return. Venmo sent me an email hours after our 2nd and final transaction informing me I had been the victim of a scam. I put the pieces together and after some skype chats with refutable users of 2+2 as well as head of WPN Security, we determined that he is indeed a scammer.

I blame no one but myself, but just putting it out there for others in the future in case you encounter him elsewhere. Also, it is important to mention that Venmo transactions are reversible and I will no longer be using it as a medium for p2p transfers and trades.
