You have illustrated how depositing has gone from a very simple act (using your Visa card) to methods that are more complicated, more costly to implement, and methods that are being systematically eliminated as they are cracked down upon. The poker sites are having to become more creative and more skilled in disguising the transactions to the banks.

You think that is progress? You see hope in that?

I don't think you can help but speak for the industry you represent. Your statements are ultimately self serving.

Where in the Constitution does it guarantee us the right to pee in 2L Coke bottles while we play online poker?

I think there are quite a few things in the constitution that could be used to argue that we have the right to not have gov't tell us we can't play poker and I defy you to show me any thing in there that would support that we shouldnt be able to.

I'm studying for the bar exam now, partway through Constitutional law review. Will report back later today on constitutionality of not allowing us to play poker in our homes later. Judgment will be binding in all courts of law.

Would people quit championing the PPA!! Gambling911 brought up a great point: They have NO legal standing on this issue!!

http://www.gambling911.com/gambling-...ms-061009.html

If Stars and Tilt want to be left alone, they gotta charter a flight and come here and fight for themselves. And/Or use a fraction of that money they have made off of Americans to hire an army of lawyers here.

What I think will eventually happen?
I have said this TOO many times on these forums and most of you are in denial: They WILL leave US!! They can eventually replace us with growing markets like South America and Asia. YES they will take a hit. Even if they left tomorrow, they WILL STILL MAKE A PROFIT!! They have made BILLIONS already and used the U.S. players as a backbone to ignite the online poker industry.

PartyPoker left and they still are making lots of Money!!

Is it fair to say they are just sort of writing off the money as a sunk cost given that they dumped all the money back into player accounts? What happens if the money is un-seized?

How the hell is drinking alcohol were you can fry your liver legal and playing poker supposedly illegal?
What about cigarettes there legal and they turn your lungs into a devastating cancer organ. And you want to make online poker illegal?

You telling me smoking cigarettes don't effect your family? Second hand smoke, death. health cost?

Why the hell is it legal for oil companies to gouge the fuc* out of Americans at the pump but the government rather go after some good American playing poker citizens.

I'm sorry, I must be mistaken. Everything is all Hunky Dory. Nobody has had checks bounce, nobody has had bank accounts close. Poker sites and/or thier processors have not had $30 Million dollars seized.

As for your "just spews random opinions with no facts" comment to me; These sites ARE growing in Asia and South America and PartyGaming has been profitable AFTER leaving the U.S. market. These ARE FACTS sir.

But all you can do is throw insults at me?

Because I (and others) put this bad situation in context with facts in another thread and addressed your "ZOMG other countries are growing theory11!!" which you summarily ignored to keep blathering your useless, uninformed opinion.

You are getting the level of response your intelligence level deserves and posting content deserves.

Leave these threads to the adults and go play with the other children or start a blog where you can rant to your hearts content.
