That's not especially relevant - bumped threads move every other thread down. It's not like this is a huge deal in this case and I understand why this is important for you, but if everyone bumped threads whenever they liked because "you don't have to open the thread?", the forums would be a mess.

Hello everyone,

Just a quick message for anyone who played in any of the Trilogy Day 2 tournaments.

Unfortunately we won't be rescheduling the tournaments so as not to penalise anyone who may not be available to take part later this week. Instead we will be reimbursing all players according to the general terms and conditions.

We're really gutted about this situation and our tech team will be investigating it thoroughly to make sure it doesn't happen again!

Our licence allows us to accept players who have a bank account in an EU country, however, it must also be legal in your location to play online poker on a site holding a French licence.

You should verify the legislation in your country of residence before playing on Winamax.

Deciding the cash game stakes that we offer is unfortunately something that I have no influence on.

We will pay out in cash any additional live event package, so long as you won both of them playing on Winamax.

When i go to my account i can'r access my status, my bonuses etc. i don't know if i get miles when i play.

Hi Guys,

hate to have to post this because I have found Winamax to be a very strong site and have recommended it to several people. Just got my first cash out paid into my bank 2500 euros and the exchange rate I got was absolutely extortionate.

I had a similar sized cash out from stars.fr come in and that amount converted into pounds came out at around 8 euros less than the amount google conversion gave me, which I find acceptable. For the same sized cash out from Winamax I received 60! euros less than the amount google conversion gives me. On top of this there was a 6 euro transaction fee. I was not aware of the fee as it is definitely not made obvious, that's fair enough, but a heads up would have been nice.

I'm not sure how you guys figure out the exchange rate, but it really just seems like it is taking money from players without telling them. I cashed out from winamax and stars on the same day and compared the conversion rate I got from both sites at the same time.

In addition to this my bank actually mailed me a letter warning me about the terrible conversion rate I was given. This is being converted into pounds btw.

I believe in free markets and you guys can charge what ever the hell you want, but I think I should make others aware of this before they deposit and play.

Some software improvement. A cancel cash out function would be nice and an option to view transaction history built into the my account page would be useful!

66 Euro on 2500 is about 2.5% - not even close to something I'd call "extortionate".

Stars gives an excellent rate - I think you'll find 2-3% is more standard.

I personally don't know the current exchange rate or what fees the banks may place on these transactions, however, Winamax does not levy any charges on withdrawals. The amount that you request is the amount that we pay out.

Of course, if you have an account that is not in Euros it is possible that the banks may charge a transaction fee and it is also the banks who decide the conversion rate, not us.

In tunisia we are not allowed to have a bank account with euro currency

Can I use my skrill account as my bank and provide the RIB as well as SWIFt ... from skrill instead of the RIB from my bank account witch can't be accepted

Hello MrAAKK,

In order to play for real money on Winamax you must have a payment method (bank account) supplied by a payment service (bank) located in the EU. This is required by our regulator.

Unfortunately, this means that it is not possible to activate your account for real money play without providing details of such a bank account.

If your current bank does not fit into the parameters stated above a possible solution would be to open a new account with a bank which is located in an EU country.

You got a weekly handrace which starts at 00.01 on Friday till 23.59 the next Thursday.
I 20-tabled from 00.00 to 02.00 that morn and from about 07.00 nearly to 12.00. As I took a look at the standings which were updated about 12 o'clock today none of my played hands showed?

What happend?

Sometimes results can take a little longer than usual to update on the leaderboards. If you still believe that the ranking has not correctly updated results for your account, please contact customer support at support@winamax.com who will be much better able to help you than myself.

Quick question - where in the software client or on the website do you see the progress regarding clearing of the first deposit bonus?

By the way, big props for the mobile app (playing via iPad mini) that imho is second only to PokerStars. Very easy navigation and you can even play up to 4 tables on the same screen at once.

That's fair enough, I shouldn't have went into full vigilante rage mode. I still don't really get this, though. I have both stars.fr and Winamax paid directly into the same British bank account and get a considerably better rate from Stars.fr cashouts than Winamax.

My bank was the one that warned me about the exchange rate and since the stars.fr one is extremely good, this still seems somewhat odd.

Perhaps it is a charge or poor exchange rate levied through the processor you are using? To be clear, I'm still going to play and cash out even at this exchange rate, I just think that more transparency would be good.

Click on 'My account' and then click on the 'My bonuses' tab.

I'd like to share three small improvements I'd like to see:

1: At this moment tables can only be resized in the bottom right corner of each table. This is very annoying and shouldn't be a big deal to change this to all four corners imo

2: Not sure if this is within WM or HM software, but when using HM2 HUD, the HUD seems to have a "always on top" setting of some sort. No matter how many internetbrowsers/worddocuments/folders/whatever I open up, I see the stats through everything. Any other client I've used so far doesn't have this issue, but as I said, not sure if this might be coming from HM2's side.

3: When it is free to check on a certain street but still (miss)clicking 'fold' some weird buttons show up with my next action, taking me two clicks to actually get myself to check. I know stars has an pop-up that lets you check automatically when this happens. Some sort of option to skip the nonsense and just check would be nice

Other than that I like the software!
