We have talked about having a secondary BBJ with lesser qualifications that would hit more often.
Thoughts?
A secondary would be just fine, tournaments with the BBJ should be associated with the mini bbj, so it could be hit in tournaments and SnG's aswell.

One thing that would help with traffic im sure is if the $10 freerolls happened every hour but not just holdem but stud, draw and every form of poker available.

If I make a deposit via MG/WU may I cash out via MG/WU? Also, what are the qualifications for the BBJ? For some reason, the website is not coming up for me right now (or else I would check these things myself).

true rep-

right now i have a software glitch where i can not withdraw. when i try to click the withdraw button it goes to open up a browser window that loads a mostly blank page. I have tried using internet explorer, firefox, and chrome. Ive also updated things like java and flash, and also cleared cookies and made security exceptions.

On June 11th emailed back and forth with support, and they told me they didnt know what was happening and would forward it "higher up." They have no responded since.

About a week later i got on live support. They told me they would forward my problem "higher up." No response since.

I wrote another email today.

As of right now I have a lot of money stuck on your site with no way to get it off. I have talked with other players and Im not the only one having this issue.

Could you please address this issue and forward it along to someone who can fix it?

I am one of the biggest defenders of your site and I feel the BBJ tables are the most negative thing you guys are doing to your site. Recreational players are going to play regardless and you'd be better served with random monthly promotions if you win with xxx garbage you win a hat etc. as they love those types of things. You say starting new tables is +EV, sure in theory. The problem is you guys kill so much of the money that is in play at your site by running the BBJ. When someone hits the BBJ it's generally going to be for a monsterous amount which undoubtedly the majority of it will be cashed out. This does not spread the money around the site to be re raked constantly by you guys and the 13.333% (10% of jackpot, 30% is taken out of jackpot to reseed that you re rake for 10% more etc.) rake you take from the BBJ does not compensate for the traffic you'll cost yourself long term (especially when the fish start losing faster due to more money coming off the table when only a couple can win BBJ).

I understand you guys wanted to come up with a gimmick but let the BBJ die, announce that it's the only one and pay it out in full when it hits rather then reseeding it, if you insist on continuing it just move it down to quad deuces at least, you WANT it hitting often so all the money isn't snap cashed off the site.

First off let me say thank you for being a supporter.
I understand that every reg in the world Hates the BBJ but you can't argue with numbers the conversion form our sports to poker has skyrocketed and only a small % of that money ever went into the BBJ. The up side far outweighs the down side by far. Lowering the requirements never gives you that BIG marketing number which attracts those new players.
Alternatively it sounds like we could apply your argument to large tournaments where a small % of the money from the top 3 places ever stay on the site. This is part of the business and when we crunch the numbers it is far better for the overall poker economy with the amount of new players it brings than the small amount of money it takes out of the economy for the BBJ your just going to have to trust me on this one.
Remember there will always be things that as a grinder you don't have any love for but if the site can stay healthy as a business then that is good for you too.
Thank you and I hope you will continue to be a supporter.

Going to provide some followup for this:

Thank you to truepoker rep for passing my problem along. I got a phone call within an hour from a support member. Unfortunately i wasnt in front of my computer so we set up a time today at 2pm where he could call me.

Now, the guy i spoke with told me he was going out that night because it was his birthday. He told me he wasnt supposed to be in until 1 the next day (3pm my time, 2 hour delay). I was EXTREMELY friendly and flexible on the phone, and told him i could do my 3pm or 4pm if it would be better (and laughed and told him he should be enjoying his birthday and not worrying about coming into work early on a saturday). But he was adamant that 2pm my time was fine.

Obvious foreshadowing that I sat down in from of my computer and he didnt call me until about 2:40. He wasted my time after insisting that 2pm was fine. I have better things to do on a Saturday afternoon during the summer than wait for support to call me.

I know many people are having the same problem as me. I can't tell you he did anything magical to fix it. The problem still persists for me. All he did as a solution was request a withdrawal for my account from his end.

Like seriously, someone couldn't have just done that on June 11th when i first contacted support about this problem?!?!

Im happy to be getting my money, and I'll be even happier when all my money is off this site.

Will reiterate though thank you to true poker rep for speeding this along.

Sounds to me like your issue got resolved within 24 hours of you posting it here on 2+2. You shouldn't be complaining at all. If anything, reading this post will make me want to play at TP even more seeing how fast your issue got resolved (your money is on the way to you).

Re: ***Official True Poker Support Thread - Punta Cana Packages up for grabs!

I've had this problem since June 11th. It shouldn't take a post on 2p2 to get an issue resolved. An email to support should be all it takes. If I seen like in over reacting, this isnt my first problem in regards to withdrawals or support issues with this site.

Fair enough I will be the first to say we are not perfect....on the brighter side I will bet you have your money faster than if you played elsewhere even with the confusion (I wont mention names).
What I am saying is (and I am not making excuses just looking for some patience) with a software platform move and the URL change to www.truepoker.ag (plug) there were bound to be glitches. I am glad I could help you with your payout had hope to have you back at some point.
Thanks
