Guess that also depends if anyone has sent in the information to the Rep by PM for investigation, since some complained earlier in this thread but there was no follow up anymore so far.

Good to know. Any word yet what the supposed BBJ twist is going to be? FWIW the way they distribute the BBJ is pretty tilting.

Hello True!

I'm playing in the new depositer freeroll. I'm alone at my table, and a second table has 3 playing. I'm the chip leader, but I won't be when they get down to a single.

Why won't the tables combine?

It gets worse.

When the other table was finally down to 1, the lobby says he's been moved to my table, but nothing is happening. Then I see my chips falling. What the? I close the window and reopen. I get back in the game after losing 5k of my 28k. I end up losing, duh, and taking second. When I get knocked out, a pop-up says something like, "you've finished 8th."

Checking my transaction history, I was given 5.75 instead of the stated 31.88 for 2nd.

True, that was a terribly run tourney. And "terrible" is a polite choice of word.

Took your advice, and the IM rep said, "supervisor working on it." They corrected the money problem ASAP. Still worried about the software, though.

Our schedule is pretty full for November, we'll consider something in December for SNG's.

That being said, we’re happy to announce an Online Super Series named ACROSS that will run for six days in late November. ACROSS will feature 19 Hold’em and Omaha events, spread out over six days, with $150,000 in guaranteed prize money. The series, which culminates in a $50k guaranteed Main Event, will feature at least three major tournaments per day.
Also planned for the series are a number of promotions, including a contest that awards free tournament seats to the top 10 players to cash in the series; a $1k freeroll seat for every player who cashes more than once in the series; and a Frequent Player Points award for each player who finishes a tournament on the bubble.

We’re also launching a $65,000 Points Race that rewards the top place with $10,000 cash. Spread over 275 places.

Look forward to hearing your feedback!

We have a Bad Beat Jackpot Winner!

A player named thebigtiger hit the Bad Beat Jackpot on Friday afternoon, shortly after it had surpassed the $431,000 mark. The winner of the hand, Joyride41, takes home $86,144.37, and four other table participants are now $10,771.27 richer.

It happened at 15:01pm ET time on Friday, October 21st, right after thebigtiger pushed all-in with pocket Queens. Joyride41 quickly called with his pocket kings. Two kings hit the board on the flop, along with a queen, securing the hand for Joyride41. But a second queen on turn changed everything and shipped $129,229.51 to thebigtiger.

If anyone wants to see the replay of the hand, visit the lobby and click "Latest BJJ" right underneath the Bad jackpot counting box.

Think the Rep mentioned before in this thread that there will still be extra points for specific tourneys next month, but less than in October. Also keep in mind that by far less Punta Cana qualifiers will take place since the tourney is early in November already (8th-12th?).

It would be nice if the leaderboard points were weighted appropriately so that paying $1 of rake in a cash game meant the same as $1 in tournament fees. I could be wrong but it seems like tournament players have a major advantage.

it really is annoying raking >2,5k and ranking somewhere >100 where most players higher ranked just played 2 tourneys!! with around 25$ fees

thats why i ask if they already know how its going to look next month as otherwise ill be gone

4. My lobby freezes everytime I open the tournament section. Both SNG and MTT.
bump - none of these issues have been resolved or even addressed.

Today we launched time-based tournaments and hand-based tournaments, two new tournament types that offer those with tight schedules the opportunity to win quickly.

Time-based tournaments end after a designated period of time, regardless of how many players remain.

When the clock runs out, players are paid out according to their rank. Just like in ordinary tournaments, a player's rank is determined by how many chips they have.

Hand-based tournaments work just like time-based tournaments. However, instead of ending after a designated amount of time, the tournament ends after a predetermined number of hands.

Time-based tournaments: 15 and 30-minute clock
Hand-based tournaments: 60-hand format

Enjoy!

Don't forget, you'll earn double points for the $50k points race all day on Monday October 31st. Only the top 250 places get paid.

Also, this weekend our special Halloween FreeRolls on Friday and Saturday will be running at 6:00 pm ET and 20 seats for our $3.5k and $7.5k Deepstack tournaments will be guaranteed.

Good luck!
