Use your points before signing up for rakeback. From Rakebackpros website:

Full Tilt Poker calculates the amount we receive for each player by the following calculation: Rake + Juice - Bonus - Player Added - Fees - Fraud - Used Points = Net Revenue
Rake: Cash game rake
Juice: Tournament fees ex. $10 + $2 sit-n-go would result in $2 of juice
Bonus: These are bonuses Full Tilt Poker gives such as deposit bonuses
Player Added: If you play in a guarantee tournament that doesn't meet the guarantee Full Tilt Poker divides the amount of the overlay by the number of players in the tournament.
Fees: Full Tilt Poker shares the cost incurred by payment processors for depositing or withdrawing on the site with its affiliates.
Fraud: Any charge backs from credit cards will be deducted from rake.
Used Points: Every time you use Full Tilt points in the store or for tournaments you are deducted $0.005 per point.

Hello all,

Just wanted to share my rakeback story with you guys. On the 9th i started playing again on FT because i wanted to play in their FTOPS tournies. I signed up on rakebackpros.com and asked for rakeback. They sent me an email saying that I would be put on a list and when they get to me they get to me. Ironically I didnt end up playing in any of the FTOPS events and ended up playing a bit of cash games, NL 2/4. Then on the 12th i email ft basically saying i like their site and would be willing to play more if they gave me rakeback. Well on the 15th they email me back saying i will be receiving rakeback. Not only that, i got rakeback from the 9th on, which was 76$ worth of money to me (forgot what the mgr was but u can do the math).

So anyways just saying that if you put in a bit of volume for a few days and send them an email you might be able to get the rakeback quicker.

Hope this helps.

Do you have to open a new FTP account or can they add rakeback to your existing FTP account?

I didn't read the whole thread, sorry if this was already discussed... I'm lazy ha ha.

lol, you can't just open a new account unless you have a family member or friend that is willing to do this for you.

I know you're not allowed to have multiple accounts. I'm not looking to open another account but want rakeback for an existing account.

Do I just email rakebackpros.com and ask to add rakeback to my existing account?

Thanks for the help.

you can try, it works for some. But if you signed up with a non-rakeback affiliate supposedly your screwed for now.

Hi,

My rakebackpros is not working (for FullTilt Poker). No stats ($0.00 earned in May) have shown up yet.

I did create the account on FTP and played some real money before signing with rakebackpros. I have never made a deposit, only transferred money in trade for PokerStars money.

I read on this forum that rakebackpros should work with existing FTP accounts.

Yes, I have e-mailed rakebackpros support but they have not responded after about a week.

Thanks in advance,

Max

Max,

Were you invited by Rakebackpros or did you just sign up without an invite? They are by invitation only.

I got an email, signed up, played a bit, but in "my stats" it says $0 rakeback this month. How often and when do they update?

Yes, that's right, you have RB now. Amazingly, all the other people on this forum all the time complaining about not having RB never even thought of this!
[/sarcasm]

Real answer: No, you have to be added to the list, and then receive an email telling you that you are eligible for RB.

I don't even play at FT so I'm no expert, but again, I don't think so. From earlier in this thread:

Then I saw this thread and decided to give it a shot and try to sign up. To my surprise I was actually able to sign up for it.

For all the people that want it and didn't get an email maybe you should just try to sign up anyway - it might work!!!

2 questions:

1) Is rakebackpros.com the only affiliate that is doing this?

2) For the people that got an email: was it from Full Tilt or from rakebackpros and also what did it say?

I just tested it out signing up with my FTP account and was successful too - but I know it won't work as my FTP account is closed (since they wouldn't give me rakeback!)

When I signed up they sent me this email:

Guess it can't hurt to email Full Tilt support and check.

Edit: you can sign up on the rakeback pros site with any 'FTP Username' it seems. I just typed a long string of completely random characters and it worked, so don't think that means anything

not unless ftp emailed you telling you you have RB. you can sign up at rakebackpros, but your stats will stay at 0.
