i dont know if players receiving an email on the 14th was the norm. but for my part, i took all of my money out of full tilt via a stars transfer and was completely ready to quit tilt and go to stars. 3 or so hrs later, i receive the offer of rakeback which made me a happy camper but smacks of desperation by full tilt. oh, i also emailed both tilt and rakeback pros in december about receiving rakeback. fwiw, i made my first deposit in early december but have had an account for a long time.

No, because the deduction is from your MGR (rake), not your RB.

I have been playing at full tilt for 2 1/2 years, i started emailing them requesting rakeback on my existing account about a year ago and was treated with the same copy and paste denial forms over and over, I told them Id take my business elsewhere, and I did for a few months but ended up coming back. About a week ago, a good friend of mine who has payed much less in lifetime rake then me, was selected as a valued customer and selected for rakeback on his existing account. I found this absolutely ludicrous, mainly because I was promised to be the first to know, if their rakeback policy changed. I have been emailing them non stop, and they keep telling be that I am linked to an affiliate that does not offer rakeback, and they cannot move me or tell me what this affiliate is called.

Is anyone else in a similar situation? Should I just give up and take my business elsewhere? Will I ever get rakeback at FT?

Your friend likely was not signed up through an affiliate. No one who was is getting RB added on, AFAIK. You guys just get put on the "we're looking into alternatives" list, but don't hold your breath.

Was just wondering if anyone knows RakebackPros policy regarding the FTP Year End Bonus. I know the calculate rakeback as: rakeback-bonus, so does that mean i am only going to get the bonus? Is the period they calculate it determined monthly or weekly?

thanks

Actually, it's rake-bonus, so you only lose 27% of your bonus. Also, I don't think they deduct the year-end bonus. A quick search should find this info for you. Again, the rule won't be unique to RBP; all affiliates will be the same.

I received this e-mail reply from FullTilt concerning Rakeback. Is this a positive response? Thanks in advance.

Hello xxxx,

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker.

Full Tilt does not pay players rakeback directly. There are a number of rakeback
affiliates who offer players up to 27% rakeback if they sign up to Full Tilt
Poker through their site.

Please note that this is not an issue which can be solved by opening another
account with Full Tilt Poker, it is against our site policy to open more than
one account. Though you could cease using your account, we do not remove it from
our system, nor do we freeze accounts in order for players to create new ones.

However, we are currently looking into organizing something that will help
players who are not already attached to an affiliate. We have added your
username to our files for further consideration. Please be patient.

If there's anything else we can help you with, please don't hesitate to ask.

Best of luck on the tables!

Kind Regards

Erik

Thanks Bobo Fett. Do you know what the average wait time is before you receive the "golden" e-mail?

About 4-6 weeks avg.

BTW, Anyone know when they pay you your weekly amount ? The end of the "8th" day after the "week" ??

Also, do you recieve an e-mail confirmation from them when they have paid you ?

1. It says in the first email you get that
they pay it to your account a few days after
that week has ended. I am expecting $ either today
or tomorrow.

2. I believe you do. I am still waiting for my 1st payment
but I read in this thread that that is the case.

This, so you really only are paying 27% retail.

Has anyone been paid their rakeback for the week of 13-19?

I didn't play on Full Tilt for over a year b/c of no rakeback. A month ago I requested rakeback, got on the list, and a week ago my account was converted to a rakeback account

Started playing a few days ago and already earning some nice RB.

I don't mean to fill up this already huge thread with more trash, but has anyone received payment yet and/or is there a determined payment cycle/date?

Thanks in advance.

Instead of contaminating the thread with the same exact question, why don't we just wait until someone recieves their payment for the week of 1-13-09 --- 1-19-09

To be fair this question has been asked many times without a real solid answer. Some say Friday to Saturday and others say a few days after the week ends.

But I do agree with you, I do not wish to clog up this thread.
