Re: Official Rush Poker Thread

4 tables seems max. Don't really know how you'd play more than that though, cuz I already have trouble keeping up with the 'quick fold' at 4 tables.

Basic strategy:

Any pair: limp, call 1 raise
Super-premium: get it in asap, pot pot pot
CO/BTN/SB: 2,5x ATC, cbet 60% any flop

5BI's in 1 hour so far at the 10NL FR.

Yes rakeback and MGR counts in rush poker. Clearing my bonus at supersonic speeds atm.

How am I going to take a note on a player if I can't select 'player notes' after the hand is over? Is it possible to open up player notes while playing and just adding it in on the new table? Seems like it, although hard to confirm because I'd have to find that player again.

Put in a short hour session, 4tabling and got in 1150hands, pretty cool. It was fun, but I cant imagine playing this regularly

Re: Official Rush Poker Thread

Niche product. It will have a "rush" so to speak as people try it, but it will not appeal to a lot of the player base in the end. I suspect it will replace regular tables in as much a way as hyper turbo SnGs replaced regular ones.

Clever idea though in how they package a product some will like which essentially is a rake increasing concept. Kind of like when Party had silly side bets on whether a flop would be all red or black cards, only this idea is quite a bit better thought out.

Seems like it works like regular.

After the hand is over, the rake is distributed between all of the players dealt in the hand.

Re: Official Rush Poker Thread

I think it will cause people to fold more in marginal spots. An amateur might just fold cause he knows he can insta get another hand.

Pretty cool though

Hrmmm, trying to get my money off FTP asap yet their cashier now isn't working. It's the single worst idea I've ever seen a site implement.

Re: Official Rush Poker Thread

Rush Poker is going to attract every short stacker on the site.
It fits right in with their Hit and Run philosophy.
They should have called it "Suck and Run".

Looks like standard tables are minimum 35BB now

FYI, Howard Lederer is playing it right now. I stole his blinds three times.

You are insanely negative, and if you actually listened to the announcement they clearly said the cashier will be down for a while, in sum, shut.up.
