Re: Official Rush Poker Thread

I typically play straight MTTs but I had to try this today and I noticed my rakeback from 1 day playing rush for only a few hours is already double what I earned all last week from MTTs

If I can just break even vs these donks my rakeback would make this worth doing long term.

I mean I quick fold and I get dealt like 8 hands in 30 seconds if I'm not in the blind.

Will try and get a better feel Wednesday and see if they are for me or not.

Re: Official Rush Poker Thread

rush poker makes me want to play online cash game again. I played for about 3 hours yesterday single tabling and got through about 2900 hands. Since i'm no longer being bum hunted it's a much more enjoyable experience.

Since you get to cycle through so many hands the beats feel way worse. There were multiple times last night where i got beat set over set and boat over boat. Overall though an awesome addition that will make me play online cash again.

Good job tilt, now start answering your emails in a timely manner and you have a winner on your hands.

Re: Official Rush Poker Thread

A few quick notes:

Rakeback = pts earned times 3 cents at full ring; times 4.5 cents at 6-max (since all tables are always full) - no ifs, ands or buts.

Estimating points and rakeback:

Avg pot in player pool divided by 20 (divide by 15 at NL10 because of higher rake ratio) times avg hands per hour (for a player, not for all players) = points per hour per table in that player pool. I would adjust this for how many hands YOU get per hour per table.

Example: Avg pot $5.00 at NL25; 280 hands per hour avg per table (an entry in a player pool = a table)

5.00/20 = avg 25 cents rake per hand times 280 hands = 70 pts per hour in this player pool per 'table'; thus using above formulas, $2.10 rakeback per hour at these rates.

Wat? I don't know why, but I don't think this is right.

Re: Official Rush Poker Thread

I can't wait to try these out.

Seems like just what the doctor ordered for me. NO WAITING on multitabling HUDbots.

Play as many tables as you like. I DON'T CARE!

I will try these out tonight after work.

BTW, my screen name is.., oh nevermind.

Soon...

Of course I still have doubts about the claim of "many people" playing abc poker and winning without some kind of game selection. The players that I am familiar with will leave games that they feel are unprofitable even if they are multi tabling.

Well, go play the games vs. the other pros for a year like I did for a year, and watch their behavior, and check their PTRs or whatever is tracking those games now.

Or go post in the SSNL forum, like I did for a year, or just lurk there.

Or you can just continue with your assumptions, if that is more comfortable.

Most table-select to an extent when starting up tables, and some are smart enough to get up when the table is all pros, but many don't bother even then. At least when I was playing them.

Re: Official Rush Poker Thread

I have to go to probation in 15 mins. so I got up a cpl mins early just to play 100 or so hands. This is Online Poker at it's finest! I think I can just play 10nl and reach Iron Man beginning next month, I'm so stoked. Imagine if stars had something like this, everybody would be a SN or SNE.

Can't wait to get back from probation, I'll be thinking about it the whole time I'm gone. It's like being 14 again, and getting that new video game that you can't stop thinking about before/after you play!

Yep, it works with Mac. Resolution just has to be 1024*764 or more.

Tilt is remaking the hand replayer so it own't be flash based and you will be able to take notes on players through 'last hand'

Re: Official Rush Poker Thread

lol at people constantly bitching at the people who are complaining that there isn't no hud.

The only thing worse than people who rely on huds that much are the dumb-asses that bitch about the hud users because now their win rates suck ass.

What the hell does being a poker purist get you?? Do you realize that berating hud users for failing to adapt is EXACTLY the same thing when you failed to adapt to huds? Jesus, people act like if you don't use widely available tools to better your win rate is immoral. ****, do what you have to do to constantly win the most you can. Adapt to the ever changing games and ****ing give up and stop bitching if you can't adapt with the times.
