Re: Official Rush Poker Thread

Seems like this will create a whole new breed of short stacking rakeback pros. How would this not be the best strategy?

Re: Official Rush Poker Thread

I wonder how long it takes to update PT and HEM to work with Rush Poker. Assuming there was a way for it to follow the player pool list, it could happen.

Will (unallowed) wholesale screen scraping of observed hands work?

Re: Official Rush Poker Thread

Oh my. This beats the entire purpose of poker. Worst idea ever. Let me get this straight:

- We can't develop reads on a player because we can't take notes on him after the action
- A HUD can't work because we change tables after every hand and the HUD needs at least 1 hand to kick in, so as a bonus I can't use any of the reads I currently have
- It will be a complete nitfest because we can simply fold every hand we don't like before it's even our turn and immediatly get a new one, even the 100% VPIP fish can now nit it up
- We can't use ANYTHING complex such as table dynamics, reads, tilting players, etc, etc, so all we have to do is look at our cards and act accordlingy

If the fish migrate to Rush Poker, I'll migrate to Stars.

Re: Official Rush Poker Thread

Like others have said, this isn't poker, and doesn't look like something I'd want to play. I just hope it doesn't change the player pool in the ring games in a negative way. I doubt they will as they only seem to go up to 50NL.

Two things full tilt did "right" here:
  • Full hand histories are written to disk for all hands you are involved in.
  • They created a new category (Ring/MTT/SNG/Rush) and did not put these games in with the ring games.

Re: Official Rush Poker Thread

Only available for Micro and Low stakes ATM. Seems nitty too, Plr/Flp 20-30%.

Just noticed, you can play multiple rush poker - you join the same pool more than once and obviously won't ever be seated with yourself on the same table.

But this is exactly what mass multitabler robots do anyway, except now they dont have to spend thousands for a ballar setup.

Not a game of poker anymore but a video game?

Not convinced that this is good at all.
this, especially video game part. Seems like uber retarded idea
