Re: Official Rush Poker Thread

It's pretty damn funny to see the hudbots complaining about this game. This has huge potential and it is just really damn fun. It's like a mix of ring games and tournaments, without the huds. This could be big.

Re: Official Rush Poker Thread

only thing that annoys me is that you can;t see how a hand pans out after you fold. As soon as you fold, you move.

Re: Official Rush Poker Thread

I'm glad I don't play NL cash on FTP. 4500 people in these games right now cannot be a good thing.

I messed around for a bit and people seem to just be mashing the quick fold button. Minraise pf ftw. There are going to be tons of drunk monkeytilters in these games on the weekends. Unfortunately, there will be no way to identify them.

If it saves the whole hand history, after a session, have PT or HEM export the stats to a note file. You won't have a HUD, but if you click on player notes, you could see stats they've had in the past.

How do posting blinds and seating position work in a Rush Poker* game?

You’ll post the big blind upon joining a Rush Poker* game. After that, the big blind is assigned to the player who has gone the longest without posting it. If there is a tie for who has gone the longest without posting, the big blind will be chosen randomly among the tied players. All other seating positions, including the small blind, are completely random from hand to hand.

Has anyone determined if "longest" refers to # of hands, or length of time? Just curious.

Re: Official Rush Poker Thread

so just so we are all clear on this... if i mash the fold button quicker than everyone else, i can potentially see dozens of hands per "rotation"?

If FTP implemented a fairer system that didn't encourage preflop nutpeddling, i guess this would be a fun diversion. As it is, this seems a broken game.

Re: Official Rush Poker Thread

so do you really need to multitable with this setup?
I could see maybe two tabling, but anything beyond that would be quickly diminishing returns wouldn't it?
