bought a reloadable netspend all access card today to try it out on Pokerstars and it was accepted. Been having trouble finding one that would work.

Cool xreed, put that here too please. Helps keep things up to date. http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...3/index43.html
afaik both the non re loadable and re loadable have been working on FTP and PS without a hitch for a long time now.

Yup, worked for me too

I just tried depositing on Pokerstars with Netspend all-access VISA reloadable card and was denied several times even though the netspend.com site shows balance on the card.

Has anyone had any success with Netspend all-access VISA on pokerstars?
02-11-2010 , 12:47 PM
Did you register the card with the site or call the toll free number to activate it?
02-11-2010 , 01:01 PM
You also have to wait a half hour. Also check your deposit limit at pokerstars, maybe you've exceeded it?

But the main one is, you have to do 1 or 2 dollars less then you have on the card. There is a transaction fee, and it will be declined unless you account for it.

For a one time deposit onto FTP (finally taking advantage of the first time deposit bonus), is it better to use netspend or all-access....or does it not matter at all? Also, I read somewhere that debit all-access was preferable over gift card all access. Truth?

Ok, so I have been searching and I can't seem to find a clear answer to this... If you get a netspend/all access card at say Circle K, do you have to wait for a physical card to arrive in the mail before loading on (insert poker site here).

Thanks..

I'm not sure wht your question is, but netspend is allaccess. Also not sure what you mean by debit/gift but if I understand you correctly the debit is the re loadable one and the gift card is the one time use that you can buy in $25, $50, or $100? Either are fine, but depending on how often, and how much you deposit the re loadable one would be best if you want over a $100 and more then once.

The one time cards are $5.95 for a hundred, and the re loadable ones are $9.95 one time fee, then 1-2$ to load them up, iirc. Ace seems to have one that can be loaded for more then $500 and I even heard one guy say he withdrew to it from FTP.

Read my post above, there are two different cards. The gift card www.allaccessgift.com can be used right away and then disposed. The re loadable one sounds like you can use it right away but you will be using a temporary card at first. Also when you deposit with the re loadable card you have to deposit for 1-2 dollars less then you have on the card because of the transaction fee. The gift card doesn't require that, meaning if you buy a $100 gift card, you can deposit the full $100 one time.

whew, that was a lot of writing, lol. Hope I'm at least helping people deposit. Remember you can always call full tilt also at 1-888-tilt-pay for deposit related inquiries.

hmm not sure if you are talking about the exact card I use, but I've never had any trouble using the All Access VISA gift cards at all on pokerstars. Only a few outlets carry them around my area (i use Circle K), you can search for them @ allaccessgifts.com

A couple days ago I found a walgreens that sold gifttogo card. It didnt work on stars or full tilt tried it on sportsbook.com and it worked there.

Today I went to 7 different places that allacess.com said had their debit cards only two had them had them and when they tried to process the card the system wouldnt let them. At the last place I ended up I buying the ICE gift card. Tried it on stars didnt work but worked on full tilt.

A couple days ago i was dumb and didnt read any of this and got a 50 dollar non all access card and of coarse it didnt work so now im getting an all access tomorrow. I think its a great idea to keep running this forum.

It's ok doggy, you can spend that one on other things at least, and it wasn't a whole lot.

there's an 'advance america' check cashing place not far from where i live, and they sell 'advance america visa prepaid' cards. i asked about netspend and all-access visa cards, and she referred to these as netspend cards, but the card only said 'advance america' on the front and in general didn't have the appearance of anything i'd seen from browsing the net.

anyone with experience care to vouch?

With allaccessvisa.com or netspend.com or whichever site you kind folks are recommending, am I able to do it all online?

1. register for acct
2. purchase a prepaid visa with my actual visa
3. use the prepaid visa immediately on site
4. profit?!?

I'm overseas and can't walk into a store to buy these prepaid visa's you all talk about.
03-03-2010 , 02:22 PM
my echecks and mastercard wont work, can i buy a prepaid visa and deposit with it?
03-03-2010 , 02:36 PM
I just tried to deposit this morning, tried a card I have used several times, I got a message saying

"Unfortunately due to situations out of our control, not all credit cards can be processed at this time"

anyone else?

But in general Visas work, at least they used to

We don't need to start threads about this every time guys. Also, when we do, it lets everyone know exactly what works and what doesn't. I mean everyone, not just players looking to deposit. We are in a tough time right now, lets not make it harder on ourselves.

Do a little research. Email the site. Call the site. Think. Search the forum (there is a ton of info in it).

yes i use a prepiad visa debit on ftp and pokerstars mine charges me a 2$ fee so be certain to account for that in your deposit amount.
03-03-2010 , 06:51 PM
I just used the all-access Visa card last week and it worked. That works on both Stars and FTP and the sites don't charge a fee for it, just the fee that you have to play when you purchase the card.

I called and there was nothing they could do they couldn't add anything for me and said I was basically screwed with my Visa ... so yes we do need to start threads

Green dot visa works, and wat-mart visa's, they it costs 5 dollars to reload each time you add cash. You may also have to wait until the permanent card arrives before it'll work on fulltilt.
