I'm an older online player, and have friends/fish who like to play poker amongst friends, but have always been hesitant to deposit money online. We will probably play with play money and have a pot on the side that we pay each other later. Since we don't live close together anymore, does anyone have any ideas on how to pay eachother? I can tranfer money into their account, but how would they pay me? Can they each just transfer money into my paypal account? I would rather not do checks by mail, because knowing them, the checks would be no good. Is anyone thinking of doing things this way, or have any ideas?

I believe in the longrun this will bring more players into the game. I already have friends asking me how they can deposit money, but I know they won't do it unless it's very simple(like running their visa card)

And I'm just not seeing the point...rather than continually begging for strangers to join your tourney, why not just sit down and play a tournament that's already scheduled? Maybe this one's in a format or at a time not otherwise available, IDK, but it sure seems like a lot of trouble for a game.

Is there a list somewhere of poker clubs that are available to join? This concept is a great idea if the purpose is to form a true poker league with a player of the year point system. If anyone is organizing something like this, count me in.
