I had 2 pending cashouts, 1 on 5/30 the other on 6/3.
Since 10 business days has passed since the 5/30 one, I complained to Stars and after a screenshot of my online bank statement, they put the money back into my Stars account, but without any 'inconvience' bonus. I thought everyone was getting 10% on top of the cashout amount?

This check cashout request was processed and no longer in my "Pending Cashouts" menu as of sometime between 1am-8am CST 06/16/2009.

fredd, when was yours requested? Mine from 6/10 is still pending.

Do your checks normally clear this fast?

The check I deposited on 6/12 bounced today. It "cleared" for like 3 days but I think that's just because I'm at a big national bank and have good standing with them so they give me access to the funds before it actually clears.

Was this check from the 'old' processor whom we knew there were problems with?

checks sure....they dont have control of that.
But saying that I should feel "lucky" or something that they ONLY took several days to send me a bunch of form emails is ridiculous.

Has anyone that told Stars they had a check bounce last week (i.e. not people that had checks that Stars knew were bad and sent emails about) heard back from Stars at all? Ive sent in a copy of my bank statement unprompted, but I havent heard anything.

You don't know a thing about it but you hate it. Well, that makes sense. I have an idea for you. I'd like to see where you put your money and if it is where your mouth is. Go find people that have screwed themselves to the point banks don't want to touch them and YOU go cash their checks for free. Put people you hate out of business then.

But you also know what the happy thing is? A bunch of you people are also circling with me. And I could probably send it to insurance if I file a police report and inconvenience someone from the poker world which I am desperately attempting not to do. Maybe I should simply say "Screw you all" and do it. Thanx for validating my efforts at trying to make it easier on one of this community. The reason I am wasting my time here is I am trying to cause the least inconvenience for the customer but maybe I should not bother.

I don't think it has to clear. You can simply bring it to a bank that the check is written out of and see if they will cash it. I brought it to Wells Fargo, where the check was written out on and they said instantly that they cannot cash it.

It's well known that the checks from the bank you just mentioned are no good/going to bounce. Been that way since this thread was started

OK. Guess I'll have to go to the customer's place and track him down since his phone is shut off. Don't know why though. After all, since he signed it to me, the check is mine now. Why can't Pokerstars deal with me directly? I am not asking about his account. Just the check that is mine now.

Usually the bigger checks come faster, which is why I requested it. Granted, it bounced the first time, so maybe I should have done something else.

Looks like the 6/8s are processing today, I have an unprocessed 6/9, was just wondering if a 6/13 got done if it was small.

Due to check issues, I decided to start using wire transfers to cashout. Cashed out the evening of June 9th (USA Pacific Time), money was in my account this morning.
