THIS IS THE MASS EMAIL THEY SEND OUT??? Don't tell you to destroy the old check? Or to remake a withdrawl request? Or sorry for the inconvienience (let alone here's something for the inconvienience????)? Nothing to reassure their customers that their money is safe with them?
Pstars has got to have some of the most incompetent management at PR/Customer Relations I've ever seen. You think at least one of the staff would have read any management book reqarding PR/crisis management. I sent them an email back with the questions and got the typical Pstars response "forwarded it to someone who is best able to assist you with this matter. They will be in contact with you as soon as possible." HUH???? They didn't even have a decent canned response to the questions people were surely going to ask????!!!?!?! What a bunch of f@#$%^k morons run that site!
Re: ** Official ** PokerStars Check Problems Thread
I guess I will wait for the mail today, but I am getting worried considering everyone else has their checks that have ordered after me... idk if doing the max cashout matters at all.
are people only doing wire for over 5K, or do they increase the check withdrawal limit?
Re: ** Official ** PokerStars Check Problems Thread
BEAT: deposited check from bad processor 6/1 and it went through... no bounce on bank account yet and no emails from stars... a bonus would've been nice... I like free moniez... all this after I moved money around early Friday to make sure that account did not overdraft
Re: ** Official ** PokerStars Check Problems Thread
So my bank's investigation branch is of course calling about the 3 checks that bounced. My bank is super chill in general but I wonder what'll happen whenever they determine what they will determine when they get to the bottom of this check processor.
Also when they ask what the checks are for, I always say consulting. I feel like telling them that it's none of their business is much more likely to raise red flags.
Re: ** Official ** PokerStars Check Problems Thread
OK I'm a little concerned here I requested a check on 6/06 over 72 hours ago it has been pending all along so I email Stars the situation and get this reply Thank you for contacting PokerStars.
Please note that at this time, your cash out request is under review by
our Security Department. Once processed, you should receive the check
within 15 business days.
Let us know if you have any other questions.

Kenya

I have cashed out several times in the past and there should be no reason for security to reviewing my account. WTF?
Re: ** Official ** PokerStars Check Problems Thread
Okay I really do not believe it is government interaction freezing your account. For one these are off-shore activities and people obviously have a significant amount of money in their respective accounts. If this is govt, then there will be a lot of lawsuits.

I go with "i operate an adult entertainment website"
I've literally said that to a bank employee before lol. They dont follow up after. besides im sure the processor is doing business with more then just poker sites.
