Ok so two of my cheques are affected by this situation. Forgive me if I'm being impatient here but I now have $XXXX of my money floating in thin air in the form of "bad checks" while you guys are settling things with your check processor. I would like to know ASAP what is going on here.

As soon as PokerStars and the affected check processor have ascertained the situation, we will let you know how we plan to proceed. You should expect an update by end of today. We do not have further information in this matter.

Any new check you request via the PokerStars Cashier will be issued from a different bank account and can be deposited and cashed without problems.

We are sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you.

So, if we just request the funds be put back into our account and request another check cashout immediately then it's back to normal. And will they do that even if you physically have the bad checks?

They probably won't honor your request. Cashouts are in limbo until PS/FTP figure out the best way to proceed. Maybe "at the end of Monday" accounts will be recredited and things will be good to go. Maybe not.

you, I, and many others are wondering the same thing.. just keep checking your e-mail/this thread and see what happens pretty much like everyone else

I tried to cash my good check today at Wal Mart and it was declined. I'm not sure if it's because I've had a bank account closed recently or because of the nature of the check.

Any other suggestions for cashing it? Maybe those Payday loan type places?

If this is true, then it's strange that they beat FTP and Stars in getting this handled.

TBH when things like UB "mysteriously has working Echecks" happen it sounds like an inter-pokersite political move.

Prob not the best idea to name banks and processors in the PUBLIC thread. Please use PM to name specific names so as not to compound the problem.

please do not mention processor names as it effects the publicity of the few places that allow us to do transactions. if you are curious as to whether a particular processor is safe to cash or not, plz ask for the processor name that is affected and someone will PM you

has anyone notified john mclane yet? the fact that **** isnt 100 percent sorted out leads me to believe he hasnt been properly notified or at least alerted to the severity of the situation.

my gf works at a bank,she says you can call the bank where the check comes from and see if the funds are good before putting in your bank account

if this guy is really that deficient i say ban him, but thats just one mans opinion.

I got $200 from AP because my paper check for $3k was no good (I hadn't even cashed it yet).

Made a $2.5k echeck withdrawal last week and they say it's been processed, but it hasn't shown up in my account yet - I wouldn't even expect it to show until Tues or Weds though. I will be making another 2.5k withdrawal later this week via echeck, hopefully it all goes well too.
