I ordered 2 checks after this one. Anyone know why they didn't mention the other ones and are talking about one that I ordered more than 3 weeks ago???
|
Similar thing happened to me. They mentioned the earliest check in the email, but I had two more recent ones with the same processor info and another one I hadn't received in mail. I emailed, and it looks like I have four checks affected even though their respons said it was only 3, and the "date requested" mentioned in the email reponse for two of the checks are different from the date indicated in cashier history.

Meh, it doesn't matter who the processor is.
The bottom line is that ps has stolen from numerous players. We have no valid check to cash, and no funds returned to our accounts.
Maybe they're not raking enough, now they're on to straight jacking people.

They changed their original press release to the US attorneys office, which doesnt exactly help their credibility

les,
i hope it all works out for you.
IF you don't lose your job, i seriously think you should reconsider cashing pokerchecks through the drawer. some employers don't understand that poker is not just for degenerates.
if you cashed a check through work from a friend and it bounced, you would look bad. if you cash a check from a pokersite and it bounces, you could look horrible.

Please... wow, some of you guys. They haven't stolen any money, but you do make a valid visual: casual players fly off the handle over little things and none of this can look good.

It's called a DELAY. Delay and stealing are different. Monday they will decide if they are going to credit accounts or cut new checks. That would be tomorrow. Hold onto your jock for one more day.

Because its been 24 hours, Stars has already said they'll address it by Monday, and Stars track record says you will get the money back and a bonus for the inconvenience or they'll just send the checks to a new processor to send out ASAP
Take a nap or go find you're blankie or something, leave this thread to the adults.
Alternatively, I'll buy your Stars money for 51 cents on the dollar. Should be a good deal since if its stolen you get 0.

Cashout request time: 2009/06/02 18:58 PT
2009/06/06@0:01 CHEQUE CASHOUT CANCELLED
Was really expecting it to be in my mail box this morning as they usually come like clockwork. I have never had any issue at all depositing paper checks and am slightly pissed that I didn't even get an email explanation from PS and have to come here to find out what is going on.
|
Now I receive this:
Quote:
Hello XXXX,
I can confirm that your $2135 check #931260 was successfully processed and
sent to the account details on file.
The cancellation entry is invalid. The "transcorr cashout" was done to
reverse it. Both these transactions can be found in your PokerStars
Cashier History. We are sorry for the confusion.
If there is anything else we can help you with, please contact us again.

With any luck I will have a good check in my mailbox on Monday. I also requested another check today just in case.
