You WOULD think so, since they've put up releases on important subjects like "EX-WESTCHESTER JAIL GUARD SENTENCED TO 72 MONTHS IN PRISON" and "UNITED NATIONS EMPLOYEE CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY," but there isn't one there, and in any case, the account was frozen last week, so this would be a little late for them to put one out.

So would you expect some kind of announcement at some point?

is there anyone besides g911 thats saying this is DOJ related. They arent citing sources... it could be the proccessors bank just booted them.

I would have expected one already. That's why, among other reasons, I do not think this is a Fed crackdown.

Frankly I am disgusted by the Poker sites failure to do more to fight for U.S. players. They have made BILLIONS of dollars from Online Poker and it started with American players with an American game.

it was from the "other" processor, and stars emailed me and told me the check will clear fine. my bank gave me access to $100 of the check, and held the rest. i just called them and they told me the rest of the funds would be available at midnight tonite.

I'm not freaking out or anything because I have been through this before with Neteller, etc...

But what I don't understand is people apparently can now get checks through a different processor to get money out, but how come people still can't deposit through echeck?

I can't re-deposit through echeck and I am missing out on these EPIC redposit freerolls.. Stars, please tell me how you are going to compensate me for all the lost EV I'm missing from being unable to play the redeposit freerolls advertised on YOUR main popscreen.

Trying to read all the ECHECK PROBLEM threads... my summary so far is:

1. No one seems to know exactly 100% for sure what is happening
2. One link posted in this and other threads states the the US DOJ put a freeze or lock down a main processor of checks (ingoing and outgoing I guess)
3. Personally I had a check bounce and have not been able to deposit an ECHECK for over 7 days on FTP or PS
4. Both FTP and PS are affected
5. Spotty reports of people recieving new checks recently withdrawn.
6. Possilby going to recieve an update from the sites Monday June 8th, 2009 (late in the day according to one post)

Please correct me and comment where needed.

I'm pretty sure this has good odds of working out: heres what it looks like on pokerstars' balance sheet and income statement:

Net income: millions per day
6/01/09: processor expense 14 million

And this is if the funds are seized and burned by hobos in a Fed deflationary scheme. Otherwise the bank probably just wires it back.
