I have an asterisk by my pending $1k Echeck withdrawal from 9/27 saying:

"* These transactions require your attention. Please contact security@pokerstars.com."

Anyone run into this before? I haven't heard back yet and am worried.

Cashed out 9/20
Received 9/28

Deposited at Chase today...no problems (yet)

Check came from somewhere in Maryland with the address handwritten on it

I think it would've been faster but I intended to send the check to my parents address and the check processor found that my real address was Chicago. I changed it on PS to Chicago and they said since I changed it after the cash out it would be sent to the original address I had entered.

Obv it arrived at my Chicago address. WTF? Oh well...the money is in hand.

I've had this happen twice. As soon as you email security, they will approve the transaction.

[QUOTE=IDozeEveryone;11048692]edit/Markusgc: please don't name banks or processors.

Thanks.

We can't ask which banks are doing eChecks or cashing paper checks?

I'm looking towards playing again and I can't really pin down whether or not I'll be able to put $ in or be able to take it out if I do. I, like others I'm sure, am on the fence 'til I know I can get my monies back out should I win. I'd like to find out in which banks these people are getting exchanges made.

I'm at WaMu, and asked today about their position about CC, eChecks/EFTs. The Manager is going to call me back. Yet, because they are now merging w/ Chase, they will be adopting Chase's position. That is: "NO CC transfers in or out of online sites". The Manger is finding out about eCheck/EFT. Yet again, an earlier poster in this thread said they were at Chase and weren't having any problems. Arrggghh!

So wtf? Where's the right answer? Which bank can I use that is going to be just that, A BANK, not a political pawn/token??

I want to go to one place (one stop shop), but now I am thinking I need to money in one way and paper check out and cash at a check cashing place. To the tune of ~2-5%. What little I know about "Moneybookers" is that it is about the same cost as a check cashing place. Am I correct? Or are they a best bet? What'll it cost me? Their CC/DCs work internationally?

I don't know what to do. I don't want to put money in and not get it out. What if I'm in some other country on a trip with a need to access the monies and there's a holdup of some sort?

Being in AZ, I've thought of going down to Mexico for a Post Office Box and a Mexican bank account, but I don't know how well that would work. I.e. taxes; non-Mexican citizen/resident; corruption issues etc...

What about if PS, Bodog or whomever, creates their own debit card/gift card? They're cheap. Where we fund it: CC purchase; EFT; paper check, and they send us a debit card/gift card with a positive balance (if one), connected to our site account. One that we can use just like any other debit card/gift card here in the US to buy stuff or get cash?

Anyway, IF permitted, I would love to hear about any ideas of which banks, or even debit cards, that are problem free with little cost.

Thanks,
L

Whatever you do, dont go to your next bank and tell them you are looking to move money on/off online poker sites.

Made my request Oct 1.

I'm in DC. Check is from a Maryland bank.

Impressive. First time I've cashed out of Stars, but the turnaround far exceeded my expectations..

Do not know how well that would work, AFAIK Checks over $500 if outside of US are sent by courrier service, courier service can't deliver to a PO Box so if this would be an issue look into it further b4 going through all that.

Processed instantly
Got check in mail 10/05/09 check was dated 9/30/2009

Had a 7 business day wait on my most recent check when usually it takes 4 or 5 business days... Just wait a few more days, nothing to worry about.
