It's called a DELAY. Delay and stealing are different. Monday they will decide if they are going to credit accounts or cut new checks. That would be tomorrow. Hold onto your jock for one more day.

Jesus, they said they are working on it. I know this may be shocking but you're not the only one sending inquries.

They are waiting for word from the processor on how to proceed. They will let you know via email by end of monday.

I will be my entire bank roll you will get every penny with no problem, have some patience, and read more.

Because its been 24 hours, Stars has already said they'll address it by Monday, and Stars track record says you will get the money back and a bonus for the inconvenience or they'll just send the checks to a new processor to send out ASAP

Take a nap or go find you're blankie or something, leave this thread to the adults.

Alternatively, I'll buy your Stars money for 51 cents on the dollar. Should be a good deal since if its stolen you get 0.

Cashout request time: 2009/06/02 18:58 PT

2009/06/06@0:01 CHEQUE CASHOUT CANCELLED

Was really expecting it to be in my mail box this morning as they usually come like clockwork. I have never had any issue at all depositing paper checks and am slightly pissed that I didn't even get an email explanation from PS and have to come here to find out what is going on.
Now I receive this:

Quote:
Hello XXXX,

I can confirm that your $2135 check #931260 was successfully processed and
sent to the account details on file.

The cancellation entry is invalid. The "transcorr cashout" was done to
reverse it. Both these transactions can be found in your PokerStars
Cashier History. We are sorry for the confusion.

If there is anything else we can help you with, please contact us again.

Regards,

Claudia
PokerStars Payment Services
With any luck I will have a good check in my mailbox on Monday. I also requested another check today just in case.

So if I take $20 from your wallet and tell you next week I'll decide whether or not to give it back to you.

You would call the police and say someone robbed you. They would lol and tell you its just a delay and not to hold on to your jock.

A bad comparison I admit.. but this is esentially what has happened and everyone is just giving them a pass.

They should have credited the accounts IMMEDIATELY. Even if the funds are unfrozen, I don't want to cash a check that has been wrapped up in all this mess. Next thing the government is breathing down my neck.

I'll just say this.. I don't believe what ps support says. They are known liars. If you all want to live in a fantasy world of trust believing they will do the right thing.. well that is your choice.

Believe me, I'm hoping for the same thing. I just don't see it coming. I think we have all been duped out of alot of money.

So, basically what you're saying is you didn't cash any money out, you're a sore loser rigtard, and this is your troll post. The new checks will not be coming from the account that was frozen.

I requested 4 checks in may, only 1 had a problem.

You people are far too trusting. The fact they are not returning support inquiries regarding this is not a good sign.

If they are interested in resolving the issue(s) properly, they would have no problem getting back to people.

Like I said.. if everyone decides to blindly trust people who take funds from them, refuse to return them, and refuse to answer support tickets as to why. That is up to you

I think it is a bit annoying that PokerStars didn't immediately (and still haven't) credited back player's accounts who were given bad checks, while FullTilt had a similar issue and almost immediately credited back those checks. I wrote them a little email that included FTP Doug's response to the issue to explain how frustrated I am by this. No response yet.

Please, get a clue. They ARE returning customer inquiries. They did twice for me, however they're probably answering thousands of emails, so cut them a break. If they're not answering your emails, it's probably because you're emailing them ignorant questions or analogies that they don't have time for.

They sent out an email Friday saying "look for an answer Monday". Super standard customer service for something like this. You're big complaint is they wont send you an extra special individual response saying "we'll tell you how we'll get you the money Monday?"

And why do you think they haven't done this? Any why do you think there has been no response yet.

Because they're not going to!

Simplest explanation usually the correct one...

heh true.
There's always a few people that seem to react emotionally and irrationally right away every time something newsworthy happens with online poker.

What about the response that they'd send out an update Monday? A devious lie?

These threads make me question our claims that sites have effective age verification to be honest.

Oh of course he is, but most of the rigtards are below 18. At least mentally.

Hey, Im so naive that Im willing to offer you 70 cents on the dollar for your Stars money. Since that's worth 0 cents on Monday, a smart guy like you who knows more than us rubes should be jumping all over it.

About 5 hours ago I only had 2 cashout options, check and echeck. I just looked again and now wire transfer has appeared as one of the options. Is it new?
