What hapened to all the:

1) USD Tables?
2) Players?

Do I really have to play in € now? I've played other microgaming skins before and remember most of the games being USD, am I doing something wrong?

they have changed most of the tables to euros to increase the rake.

There are now serveral pools of players (check pokerscout.com for an explaination of how the player pools are divided.

Did you not check the site out before you joined/made a deposit?

Thanks for the replies - I completely forgot about this thread until I searched for Unibet today due to my current problem.

Does everybody have to jump through hoops when making cashouts on Unibet or just me? My account was frozen after making a withdrawal request (without any notification until I enquired) and I have now been asked for no less than FIVE different ID verification documents.

I have no problems with this although I do think it's a tad on the excessive side. I'm just starting to worry as I've read some real horror stories about withdrawal delays and frozen accounts (only since googling "unibet withdrawal").

Is a frozen account and LOTS of verification documents standard?

I wouldn't usually worry about this kind of stuff as i've never had problems (other than long delays) anywhere else but I managed to live every degen's dream and increase my deposit by a factor of 15 in 2 days by playing the casino side games, this is now the most money I've ever had online and I'm a little edgy because its now frozen. To be honest I've probably just scared myself by reading articles written by rig-tards and cheats but I would still like some re-assurance if possible.

Interesting side note - I can still log in to the website and it would appear that I can still access the sports betting etc, I just can't log in to the poker client

Unibet made me jump through hoops quite a while ago. Its crazy how sites dont mind you depositing and playing without I.D. but insist on it when you withdraw. It took me about 3 weeks to get my money so I just never palyed there again.

Thanks

Although it's far from ideal it's nice to know I'm not the only one! To be honest I quite like the site and will continue to play there if this is all cleared up quickly, but to me it already looks like they're pulling out all the stops to delay my cashout as long as possible.

Lol

Just logged on to my account via the webpage to do a printscreen of the balance and notice that they have now cancelled my Neteller withdrawal but not the bank wire.

Again, I have not been notified of this in any way.

Edit: I should also add that there is now absolutely no record of me ever even requesting the withdrawal. It no longer shows on my account history and I didn't even receive an e-mail when I requested it.

hi, i have a problem with unibet too ...
i deposited via Neteller, everything was just perfect, they didn't need any ID, adress...
i made a withdrawal of 15euro and the money came to neteller in a day or so, but about a week ago i wanted to withdraw my BR(about 400euros) to deposit it somewhere else...
So i request the withdraw, wait for 2 days, nothing ... i email them and they tell me that i have to send papers (ok, but souldn't have they contacted me first ?), anyway i send everything they need, and just monday they said that the paper-processing is done, and offcourse the withdraw was canceled, i request it again and didn't see any money yet ... when do you think i'll get my money ?
I'm sick and tired of them, they are just unprofessional ...don't ever deposit at UNIBET !!!!!!

I've now sent them:

1) Copy of my passport
2) Screenshot of Neteller account
3) Screenshot of online banking statement
4) Screenshot of online banking address / account details page
5) Copy of my tax return
6) Copy of a letter from the treasury
7) Another, better quality copy of my tax return

And all of the above wasn't even enough so finally:

8) Copy of paper bank-statement which I had to order specifically (I sent this on monday)

Breach of Data Protection Act much?

They still haven't sent me:

My Money
1) Confirmation that I requested 2 withdrawals
2) Notification that one withdrawal was cancelled
3) Notification that my account is locked (I'm not even sure that it is infact locked)
4) Notification that my account is safe and has not been compromised (I'm now certain it is safe, but they never responded to my original enquiry)

Edit: All of this has been requested just to answer this query:

Hi,

I just changed my password as I was worried my old one was too insecure. I can log into my account on www.unibet.co.uk but when I try to log in to the poker client I get the error message: Your account has been locked out of the system. Please contact support. Could you please look into this and see what the problem is?

1) It's 'waived' not 'waivered'.
2) The DPA governs how they use your data, not what data they can ask for.

Pretty sure they're not supposed to hold more data than required for any longer than required but I could be wrong on this.

Still, this situation is completely ridiculous. 11 days and 8 different proof of address / identity etc documents and they still won't even respond to my oiginal query.

yeah I think the obvious answer is that once you get your withdrawal through, don't play on the site. it's stuff like this that doesn't help poker legislation, especially in america.

I deposited on Unibet through Neteller a few months ago, withdrew ~$650. Was not asked for any ID or any other documents.

I'm afraid that these requests for your documents are just a way of stalling before they pay you your money. I think, you are in the same pickle as MicroGaming's Eurolinx and Betonbet users..

Maybe it's because I deposited $1k and ran my account up to over $15k in two days playing their degen casino games (I think I actually lost money on the poker tables). I'm taking money from them not other players.

I've only requested half of it in withdrawals because I planned to keep playing there but now I just want my money.

Edit: Should have started a thread called "Unibet stall me and freeze $15k for a simple query" if I wanted to get more views.

meh, it's a bit soon yet.

To be honest I wouldn't be anywhere near as bothered about this if it wasn't for the amount of money involved.

I had problems withdrawing a while back too. Their customer service, and general attitude is shocking.

Also worth noting, soon after i was forced to supply photos of my passport, bank statements & debit card around £150 went missing from my bank to random phone top up sites. Obviously got all that back from my bank after telling them the transactions were fraudulent.

Cant be sure that fraud was linked to unibet but im convinced it is, most likely one of their scummy customer service advisors.

Also had to send around 3-4 different copies of my passport photo because they were not clear enough. Pisses you off pretty bad considering they take 2 days at least to reply to each email.

yes, that is an obvious delaying tactic. That means they have difficulties paying out.
