Agree. Just doesn't make sense to limit the number of tables/lobbies that can be open at any given time.

Unfortunate side affect of new software.

The game lobbies really seem to be problematic. When I am registered for more than one of the freerolls, lately, when the tournament I am expecting to open does so, one of the other lobbies I have registered in, pops up also.

Re: *** Official Poker Pros Network Support and Promotions Thread ***

Now I have a problem that is a much bigger issue. I was disconnected from the freeroll and I can't log back in. Getting an Error 1 message, "There was a connection error to the server."

I registered for the $25 Guaranteed so I have a whole $1.25 at risk if the game starts.

After about 20 minutes I am able to log in again. Can't find the game I was in and it looks like the $25 Guaranteed didn't start.

Missed tonight's freeroll because I only had the main lobby open and thought the tournament started at 8:00 my time, rather than 7:00. Tournament did not pop up automatically. Wasn't this supposed to be fixed?

Tonight's $25 Guaranteed game.

Just before the first break I was down to about $1250 and attempted to rebuy. Nothing happened when I clicked on the Add Chips button. Closed the tournament lobby and tried again. Nothing. Closed the game table. Then it didn't show up on the main lobby list. Tried to use "Find a Player" but that did nothing to take me back. Finally closed the client and restarted. At this point the game was listed in the main lobby and I could return. I was also able to rebuy finally.

This shouldn't be such a difficult task to accomplish and should not interrupt game play.

yes it was supposed to be fixed and i think it was at one point. I occassionally test the "fixes" but i have no faith that anything "fixed" will stay that way so i leave the window open beginning at least an hour before an event. If i have two events close to one another i will open the second one as soon as the first one starts. Also, I do not register for a future freeroll until i have completed one. If they don't get these things permanently fixed soon then the new players will probably drop like flies.

surprisingly, the rebuys and add ons worked perfectly for me in that event. but i do not doubt the problems you had. i just don't understand it. If i had a clue maybe i could get a job as a PPN programmer --- er-- maybe not.

Guess I still gonna wait until the site has made a few more baby steps forward before I will eventually create an account ... with so many confirmed bugs in the software client, I rather stick with other small start-ups that also have a low traffic but at least a decent software instead.

Funny thing is that I used your name the first time I tried to use the "Find a Player" function. It told me where to find you, game and table numbers, but offered no option to take me there, which is what I wanted. Tried DOEceDOE also with the same results. Didn't try my own name.

The thing that really tweaks me about this is that it happened right in the middle of the game at a point where I desperately needed chips and some cards. I dropped 25% of my stack before I got my rebuy and who knows what hands I missed.

I wouldn't let these issues keep you from opening an account. It will take time, maybe lots of time, before the software is really where is should be but the games are small and enjoyable. People are usually very friendly. Try the freerolls just to get used to the look.

Also, in last night's $25 Guaranteed I found it unusual that that first few players who went out did not rebuy. One of these was PPNCEO. Wondered if they were unable to get a rebuy. Seems strange not to rebuy at least once in a rebuy/add-on game, in my opinion anyway.

I was begging at the freeroll tables for 3 more players to join so there would be the minimum number of players required for the tourney to run. I suspect that Chuck only joined as a courtesy so i'm not surprised he didn't rebuy. The last 2 players to join literally got in at the last minute. The first 2 or 3 times i played the event i didn't even realize you could rebuy/add on.

The times where I created an account just to participate in Freerolls are gone by a few years already, I pay by far more attention to the whole product now and expect a certain quality with a rather limited time. That being said and witnessing the bugs day in day out reported by several members, you may understand that it doesn't quite create a lot of thrill for potential new customers and exactly that should be the main goal for a relatively new site with small traffic.
