Re: PartyPoker October Release

1. Still waiting on the refund. Emailed them the other day to ask about said they were still working on it.

2. I just looked at the cashout screen and there's a £1.50 withdrawl fee to Visa Debit and a fee for every other option I can use. This is a ****ing disgrace. I think I'm just going to withdraw all at once and move elsewhere.

PartyPoker is a joke.

So I sat out after that. Opened another table (didn't sit in), same thing.

Tried killing all of my PT3 processes just to make sure it's not the HUD that'd doing something, no difference. Rebooting Party client helped.

Oh yeah, when closing the client, it says something went wrong and wants to send a log... except that sending failed ("out of memory"). My PC surely wasn't out of memory.

Can you please send me more details on this issue (account name, hand number, screenshot of the error message) so that we can investigate?

Re: PartyPoker October Release

I've sent screenshots and more details to party support (KMM15110113I15977L0KM).
I'd urge others do the same (I assume the +1 meant I'm not alone with this)... I mean, Annette won a tourney without looking at her hole cards, but without community cards, it's getting a bit too difficult.

I play on more than 10 tables and open/close many others when I play and after 2 hours I getting a popup "game table" "out of memory". I have to restart the client and I can play for 2 hours again.

Ok, that's different then. Happened once again, lost the community cards. Tried to restart Party client, out of memory when it tries to send a report. Everything fine after restarting.

Re: PartyPoker October Release

I have a request that I've brought up before. PLEASE consider making the note-taking box bigger or in some way allow players to manually strech it to a size that works for them.

If any work gets done on the classic table chat box, then pleeeeeeeease make it so we can use coloured notes on classic tables too!

I guess there isn't a great desire for this so it's low priority, but I'm sure other SNG players will back me up on how helpful it would be...

Not so different. I lose all the community cards and buttons. Maybe I can see any board and some buttons on a couple of the tables. Then when I try to open a table or highlight the lobby the "out of memory" pops up.

Re: PartyPoker October Release

Ah ok. Yeah, the buttons act strange too... I can see the texts but the graphics for the buttons disappear. They work, too... I bet through a hand with TP (hand strength was showing).

Since Party hasn't asked for any more details, please cross check against my list, maybe we can rule something out.

Re: PartyPoker October Release

Party_Rep,

I'd like to bring some issues to your attention:

1. Some of the hand histories Party sends by e-mail are messed up. They look like this:

...
Seat 1: null ($25)
Seat 2: HERO ($25)
Seat 3: null ($27.32)
Seat 4: null ($20.57)
Seat 5: null ($33.16)
Seat 6: null ($25.34)
null posts small blind (0.1)
HERO posts big blind (0.25)
** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to HERO [ Tc, Kc ]
null folds
null raises 0.75 to 0.75
null folds
null folds
null folds

2. Why do I sometimes have two PartyGaming.exe processes running? The second one is definitely PartyCasino but I don't even have it installed! If I delete the PartyCasino folder and also delete its folder from the registry, when the PartyPoker starts it re-creates both of those!

3. Your engineers need to spend (a lot of) time on optimizing the software. As it is, Party uses about 3-5 times as much CPU as the Stars client.
