Re: PartyPoker October Release

Guys, Im not getting a refund for the $55 crazy stack and $8 8kspd rebuy on Nov. 4th. After their server problem, I couldn't join table.
This is pretty ridiculous...

I emailed Party and they directed me to the Disconnection T&Cs however I have now seen that this tourney was played to a close? It must have restarted 2 hours after the server went down. I've checked P5s and OPR and the tourneys have tracked and prizepools distributed.

In the $109 it seemed that there was about 40odd players still in when it disconnected and when it re-connected everyone bar 8ish players were sat out. Therefore they could just raise every hand and steal the blinds I've sent another email to Party this morning so will post if it's anything of interest.

Re: PartyPoker October Release

Stupid question: sometimes players have some rounded thing top of their screenname box, what is that?

Thank you for contacting Customer Service.

Please note, I do apologise once again for the inconvenience that has occurred. Indeed there were some technical difficulties and some of the tournaments were affected. I have checked and according to the records you were indeed disconnected from the tournament in question - $10K Gtd50/5.

I will have to contact our technical department for further assistance. Due to that, I'd kindly ask you for you patience. It will be highly appreciated.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us any time you wish.

Thank you for choosing us as your online gaming site.

Unhappy Re: PartyPoker October Release

Anybody else keep getting disconnection messages in SOME tables? This is around the same time as the problem two days ago. Is it the peak time for PartyPoker?

Re: PartyPoker October Release

i had the problem with the incomplete hand histories again today, lost about 60 hands.
as far as i can see it always occurs when a certain player sits at the table with me, seems like the party software can't handle that screen name.

Re: PartyPoker October Release

I can't believe they didn't cancel the tournaments after the 2 hour disconnects, when half the field had given up and gone to bed or just closed the client after waiting an hour etc etc. I sent an email the day after it happened and they didn't reply, so I just re-sent it saying that I wouldn't be playing on the site until this is resolved. This is extremely unprofessional by Party!

Re: PartyPoker October Release

Half an hour after sending above-mentioned email, now that's more like it:

"Thank you for contacting us.

I would like to apologize for the inconvenience we have caused with the technical issues on our end. Our respective department is investigating the affected tables and you will be compensated for the $ 30K Gtd Super Thursday tournament. Our respective department will add freeroll entry for the same tournament as soon as possible, so you can use it for the tournament next Thursday. You will have to register manually for the tournament using the freeroll entry. Regarding the second game, please be kindly informed that we have no information provided from our respective department. Please give us more time so we can further investigate the games.

In case you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will be more than happy to help you.

Thank you for choosing us as your online gaming site!

Kind Regards,
Boyan,

Re: PartyPoker October Release

party rep:

-Could you please give us an update for when you are going to make a filter to filter out 20bb tables?
-Also there are still waitlist issues. Been waitlist issues for years. I think the waitlist just needs to be redesigned because for a simple thing there are some major bugs with it. Don't know how many times I've been able to jump ahead of the waitlist or how many times i've been taken to a table and told that i cant sit because i'm not first on the list... So i have to remove myself from the list and re-add to the end of it.

Thanks a lot

Re: PartyPoker October Release

I suppose I would have heard of it, but:
Any one else seen a hand where the community cards are invisible? I was waiting for flop in a hand, and the cards didn't show up. Luckily I had "show hands strength" telling me what I had...

So I sat out after that. Opened another table (didn't sit in), same thing.

Tried killing all of my PT3 processes just to make sure it's not the HUD that'd doing something, no difference. Rebooting Party client helped.

Oh yeah, when closing the client, it says something went wrong and wants to send a log... except that sending failed ("out of memory"). My PC surely wasn't out of memory.
