Party rep you still haven't answered the question of what happens to money lost to rogue accounts? What's taking so long?

PartyPoker's new player segregation policy

Hi,

Regarding your audit: http://www.ecogra.org/certificates/poker.aspx?cid=167

Are you aware of PartyPoker's new player segregation policy: http://pokerfuse.com/news/poker-room...egulars-28-02/

You can also find more information on many different forum threads running in many different poker communities about this by searching Google for "party poker segregation".

Your audit concluded that "Games are fair" and "The poker room operates honestly and behaves responsibly", yet this recent change in policy appears to go against both of those conclusions.

Please could you look into this.

Thanks
I suggest others here send a similar email to them and encourage others from other poker communities to do the same.

Juk

I'm still a long way away from getting my tinfoil hat out... But if they do start rigging the games for the benefit of the fish then be assured it won't take long for people to find out.

EDIT: To play devils advocate though, just looked at my March results and so far I'm running approximately "fair" with a $EV_luck percentile of 42% (ie: slightly unlucky) and a cEV_luck percentile of 49% (ie: very very slightly unlucky).
confirmed rigged/downswing+**** load of coolers here as well, last ~2 months

also +1 for doomswitch activation after buying bonus from the store. i go on downswing every time i purchase that 3k bonus...i have enough points right now, but aint gonna buy that for awhile.

Is there rakeback at party?
Someone can answer this?

Also, i assume sng players aren't segregated right?

Party keeps it. Which gives them a clear incentive to make false allegations to steal peoples money. There have been cases where if you call down light HU they will steal your bankroll. Then maybe you can get it back if you make a lot of fuss about it on 2+2.

if you downloaded the Party Point script from PT4's download warehouse, then i'm the author of that script. The caluculations were precise at the time of making the script available. I havn't heard if PP have changed how they distribute points so let me know if this continues. If so, i will have to look at updating the script.

it's odd that you mention that. Right after i made a large cashout and started a cash bonus i've run bad the last 2 days in a row. I'm not down anything to be worried about but my WTSD is 22% won at showdown 17%. AA got cracked all in pre twice in a row lol

FWIW I cashed out on 4th Jan, meaning I'd cashed out more than my original deposit, and haven't been able to win since. 257k hands and I've done 60BIs. Don't get me wrong, some of them have been purely my fault, but when I get it all-in preflop with AA, this week alone I've lost to AKo twice, AKs, AQo, 45s and last night K3o
I fully understand variance, but I've gone from laughing at these constant river beats, to disbelief at their frequency and am now at the stage where I might need to borrow a tin hat

that certificate is meaningless, how old is it. Thee is no issue date for all we know it's years old. How often do are you checked?

I have also been getting killed since all this BS started.

Squeeze AK, whale calls with K7 offsuit and flop is K72. Rinse and repeat about 50 more times. Yes, it is probably badluck for me but this is what happens when you are not transparent with customers, they start to wonder what else might be going on behind their backs.

Ladies and gentlemen

To help correct your recent downswings

I suggest you :

1 Cease all game play at party poker
2 Email info@ecogra.org with ALL your segregation and rigging concerns with GREAT detail (they are apparently the independent third party auditor of Party poker)
3 Wait for a reply
4 If no reply, follow up again within a recent timeframe
5 Remain firm with step 1 until you are confident Party poker is operating honestly and behaving responsibly, and that their "games are fair"

Again ..... info@ecogra.org

This "protecting beginners" by putting them in games where they think they're playing against the normal crowd but are actually given a soft opposition does bring some mental images about the Three Card Monte hustle of letting you win a game or two in the beginning. This opposed to the "welcome lounge" thing where the newbies know the level of their opposition is other newbies.

If Party did this with a casino game, the "Responsible Gaming" part of their license might look a bit... shady.

Party_Rep, when you arrange for the softer tables for the newcomers and weaker players, are you informing them that the conditions of the game might change if they end up winning some?
