Hello, I've just moved to party from FTP and I thought i'd give you some feedback.

1. Bet slider is pretty annoying, I can imagine misclicking the + sign and accidently going on all preflop will probably cost me a few bucks at some point. Would be nice if it worked like full tilts/stars.

2. Tables sometimes don't update the amount of players it shows playing on them in the lobby. So a table can show 3/6 but have 6/6.

3. There's a windows beep sound every time I select a table in the lobby (I asked my friend if he got this and he said no, so maybe just me).

4. More avatars would be nice, helps with remembering ****.

5. The table preview seems kinda pointless.

6. Quick seat doesn't have a setting for minimum players at table.

7. The waiting list pop ups were annoying at first.. I'd click on take seat to open up the table and then I'd be like "Alright this table sucks" and close it but then I'd get the pop up again for the same table 10 secs later which was crazy annoying till I realised that you have to sit down at table and then leave to get it to stop bugging you. It's not such a big deal anymore but would be better if it just auto sat you at table when you click take seat.

13.3k points/month (40k per quarter) and you'd get palladium elite and be able to choose between bonuses equiv. to 35% - 50% rakeback, the higher ones taking longer to get and then clear

and each month you can work out what extra % you get from whatever promo is running
One would better get constant extras and large enough or one is simply stuck with a low rakeback percentage until one rakes there big, sort of every month. FTP has a flat rakeback and there are or are not such at the other big euro sites (skins) of Ongame, iPoker, Prima, that though also will have rakes as high as at Party and are more or less as big sites (networks), depending of what one is playing. One gets two party points by raking one dollar, and their rakeback percentages just dropped a bit further some time ago. One is far better playing PokerStars VIP (and Stars has like ten times more "players"), that additionally has overall a lower rake like FTP, that additionally offers a rakeback deal. In most cases, Party will lose in comparison to the bigger sites, and even to the possible better deals offered by the other euro sites/networks. Party has about always been a big loser in the non-US markets though it's the biggest euro site. Personally, I haven't put any action in Party Poker since 2005 as it's simply a bad deal no matter what one is playing.

1. i dont use the slider so no comment

2. you have to click a table at the lobby and wait for few seconds, this updates the lobby numbers

3. you have to disable windows beep: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windo...-system-beeps/

should be same for every operating system

4. use the classic layout ffs, the new one is for newbies

5/6. never use it

7. we have been crying about the waitlist and all of its bugs for ages but party isnt doing anything about it so you just have to live with it

lol hadn't seen them before ^^.

Has anyone downloaded them? Is there actually a picture of Tony G on the mod or is that just a joke? They actually look ok without him on.

You can hit "Take me off the list" button the next time it pops up. But I completely agree, the popups are annoying as hell. A "leave waitlist" button on the table would have been very useful.

is party worth it if you are only paying 2-3k rake per month? seems like it would take too long to get to any decent bonus.

are the promotions a good short term substitute?

atm im on stars, and the consistant payouts of stellar rewards, plus the shorter time between 4k bonus's is what's keeping me there.

2.5k rake/month ist enough for the $3k bonus (20,000 PP) every 4 month (30% rakeback). I guess stars is still a little better at this volume.

you don't need 20k PPs per quarter (3 months) to be eligible for the 3k bonus. you only need 9k.

2.5k rake/month would be 5k PPs per month, so you'd be able to buy the 3k bonus at the end of month 4.

palladium status is rolled over to the whole next quarter after the one you earn it in, you don't lose it at the end of month 3 (not that this fact is written anywhere on the website or client, i had to ask live chat support lol)

Is there a "base" points versus "bonus" points system like there is on FTP? When I reach Palladium Elite, will I have exactly 40k points to use or more?
[PartyPoker] Ex-Official thread Quote

no, everyone gets 2pp per $1 in rake. only thing that changes is how much $ you get per a partypoint which obv goes up as you make it towards elite

and yes when you reach elite you will have 40k points unless you have gotten some extra points like from this months promotion

all depends how much you raked, in theory you will have raked i 1500 party points a month for 3 months straight, so you would have around 4500 party points to get Palladium?

oh sorry for Palladium elite you need 40k/quarter so 20k in rake per calendar quarter

only base points earned at the tables count in terms of VIP status and eligibility for bonuses, but the extra ones you get from promos can still be used to buy the bonuses too

so you'll become elite when u have earned 40k points at the tables but will have a few extra from promos in your balance (unless hypothetically you didn't opt in to any promos)

all points have the same worth in terms of buying bonuses. each point is worth at least 20 cents at elite level (opting for 7k bonuses), higher if you elect to save up for 20k or 75k bonuses

Figured I'll try and get to the highest effective RB with the 75k bonus, but seems it'll take at least a year before I see a cent of that money.

Somewhat discouraging... the instant Palladium Elite promo for noobs is pretty much worthless then.

^without any kind of FPP multiplier the main value of being VIP to me (standard palladium, not elite) by far is just free cashouts

theres also:

- live support chat was already pretty good, but they do seem to help out VIP players more
- VIP players do seem to get a lot more random bonuses thrown at them which is nice
- increased deposit amounts might be useful one day

the value of extra promos, concierge service (if you ever use it) and their brief mention of 'events' is hard to quantify but it's definitely something of a nice gesture for party to upgrade new players (as well as a marketing gimmick ldo) even if there isn't much immediate value in it

+1

The VIP support staff have always been helpful when I've had problems in the past.

Question.

Counting everything but the Point Store (so monthly promotions, other promos, reload bonuses, other bonuses)... what additional % back, on average, doyou think Party awards for:

customer who rakes 1k/month
customer who rakes 3k/month
customer who rakes 5k+/month
