I'll work out my average rake per day as you say and then see how much extra effort itll be to go for elite. Not sure if grinding all those extra hours is worth it, if my focus and hence winrate is going to suffer though. Be nice to work off that $20K though.

I'm constantly getting Party Gaming application has stopped working. In a 14 hour session yday I probably had it happen 15 times. Also, as most people probably know when you log back in all your tourney tables are called simply 'table no.' which is extremely tilting.

Anyone else having this problem?

I have a really annoying problem, after playing some hour, all active tables hide and i cant act on any table. I playing on other sites at the same time and its only on PP i got this problem so i really doubt it is my computer. I can see all tables down in the meny and hear the sound, but not open or act on any of them. The only solution is to restart PP.
Someone have any ideas what this might be ?

Party's language filter really annoys the sht out of me. It blocks words like 'buttons and 'tilt' and other stupid stuff that isn't foul language. wtf

edit: okay, I remember why it blocks out 'tilt', but there are other words it shouldn't be ex-ing out imo.

I rarely get problems nowadays. I get a box popping up now and again saying there's a problem but it soon disappears without crashing. I used to get connection issues, but I think it was mainly my ISP. FWIW I play on Gamebookers, could that make a difference?

i would like to share some thoughts for the hu matches there.

Does anybody have approximations of how many hands per day by stake it will take to reach 1200 PartyPoints/Day and 1500 PartyPoints/Day respectively (for the upcoming Gladiator)? I've been trying to find any type of rakeback calculator related to Party but haven't been able to. Thanks all and best of luck.

Can only provide my own experience, but if you get a few others to chime in you can probably get a reasonable approximation.

6-tabling (3 50nl 3 100nl) for 5 hours gives me approx. 300-400pts. a day (55-75h/hr per table)
6-tabling (2 50nl 4 100nl, when it's running) nets me closer to 350-450(50-70h/hr per table)

Hands/hr depends on time of day/how high I'm playing. I'm running on the laggy side. YMMV

*edit* deduct 50 or so pts. per day for days when the tables are dry

Two questions about gladiator. Posting because I can probably get an answer quicker here.

1. It is possible to get both the WPT package and the WSOP package, yes?

2. As well as the gladiator rewards I can still use the points I earn to buy things in the shop?

1. if you mean can you get 2 prizes, lol no you just get the highest value prize you qualify for.

if you mean can you use the $8k WPT package for WSOP instead, no, it says no in T&Cs. if you mean can u get WPT now and WSOP later in the year, possibly, in 2011 there were 2 gladiators one for WPT one for WSOP in separate months but it's not confirmed yet

and last year it was WSOP gladiator in may and WPT one in Nov, in 2012 it's changed, things seem to be up in the air in the moment, party support implied scaling back on grinder-oriented promotions which might mean the demise of gladiator in the future, we don't know

2. you can still use the points as normal yeah, they dont get affected

Anybody got LHE 6-max rake figures (BB/100) at 1/2 to 3/6? I probably would hit Palladium level and get 30% return + something like 15 % from affiliate.

Any idea how this compares to Pokerstars Platinum?

People keep asking thread regs to do rake calcs for them but any reply you get is purely speculative. Rake at Party is WC so it's different for everyone and not simply just based on vpip. Stop being so lazy and go play for a few hours then find a mean figure and you should be able to give yourself a far more realistic figure.

yep questions like that are hard to answer, if they weren't there'd be a widely shared resource covering them in detail. as mentioned it depends on your playing style, and you can't filter out jackpot rake in HEM, it's hard to 100% avoid party BBJ tables, so that skews even huge data samples like PTR's site rake analysis

long story short if you actually play/search this thread/PTR regs/do the math yourself, you'll find that below 5/10 LHE rake is sick high on party, ~1BB/100 more, many of the best regs are breakeven over huge samples, it's hard to beat even with a 60/5 fish at the table

also palladium level, $50 rake/day, is pretty much = supernova, not sure why you are comparing it to stars platinum star

JH1's recent spreadsheet has excellent info for stars, which is easier to compile as there are no BBJ tables, you could use that, go play 10k hands at every stake on party and get back to us with us a comparison if you like

As jspill (as usual absolutely correctly said, rake is huge on PP. My numbers are:

2/4 USD - 3,87 BB/100

3/6 USD - 3,5 BB/100

5/10 USD - 3 BB/100

with winrate 0,16 BB/100

Im running LAG 34/26 style, so if you running TAG, you will rake probably less.

thanks strixsr, how often roughly do you play jackpot tables? that filtered for 5-6 handed and all after the switch to W/C rake? (HEM updated the stat at the end of august 2011)

I dont play Jackpot tables at all and those numbers are filtered for 5-6 handed after 1. of september...so numbers on PP are REALLY that high for me

So I can forget Party! I guess I'll continue jumping across euro sites with 50%+ deals. Even SN at Stars returns less and the competition is much tougher.

Sometimes I just get so tired looking for action on 5 different networks with hideous software running on parallels...

After rake changes on PS this month I have 2,3 BB/100 on 5/10 USD and 2,5 BB/100 on 3/6 USD, dont played 2/4 yet.

So those numbers are really funny in compare with PP, but overall its hard to tell what is better, becouse PP is more soft and also i have about 55% rb on PP and 45% (SN 300k) on PS...so I will make some calculations soonest on autumn

hmm well merge is even worse, unbeatable 4BB/100+, there are lot of threads about it in the zoo... ipoker historically was also terrible, it changed for the better recently but there's no LHE traffic.. ongame uses essence system... i'm not sure where is best nowadays tbh
