Re: PartyPoker October Release

Since the crash, none of my starting tables for new tournaments have been opening automatically!

Played 10 cashtables and the whole Party software crashed. Will that be playable today?

**** party, crashed for me too when i was involved in 2 huge pots, **** this site, instead of getting ur programmers creating retarded crap like fold and show, get them to sort the abrupt crashing, party is getting a strongly worded email, expect serious compensation for this

Also, can anybody confirm it's not FPHG causing crashes (in the past it has after updates...)?

No mate i dont use FPHG and my client crashed already 3 times and for the SNG helper most of the functions def. not working like right click check-fold ( it does click fold if u click it before ur turn for advance buttons but not folding or checking when the actual buttons appear ) and when u wanna push all in with the wheel it just calls the big blind.

Being said that, funny enough i used it @ my plo cash tables and check-fold is working fine there.

took all 19 mins for my first crash

was going to rake $375 tonight to get max cards today but i guess someone else will take those cards. just not worth it to risk a crash in a big pot

How long does it usually take to get these kind of things fixed?

It must be something to do with the little "trophy cup" thing then and I'll only be able to work it out while playing as it doesn't show on play money - it'll prolly be a while before I can fix it as don't much fancy playing with crashes.

If anybody in the mean time knows how to use the AHK "window spy" can you look while playing and record the AHK ID's of the changed buttons, timebank, etc.

Did you try classic tables?

The trophy cup button appeared at the bottom near the chat boxes and when clicked makes the chat window show info about the SNG (it didn't show in play-money SNGs though).

Re: PartyPoker October Release

Weren't Party at least at some point informing 3rd party software authors about changes that might break compatibility in upcoming updates? Thought that was a good idea, but it was at least a year ago or so. Maybe posting the "under the hood" changes in these release threads beforehand would be nice.

Yeah the cup changes everything - cup is AfxWnd90u1 so every one is 1 higher i.e. fold is AfxWnd90u18

Had 3 different crashes earlier this morning (within two hours) while multi-tabling tournaments, and just had a fourth crash. The first and fourth crash is the same as UpThePosh's description below; the "Player Feedback Form" popped up. Support asked me to email a tracert report, but I would think this is a software bug introduced by the update instead of connection issues.

I just got told that avoiding pressing the trophy cup icon should stop the problem (thanks to HighSteaks for this!) until I get time to look at it properly.

Has the crashing been fixed or is it still happening? I wanted to play tonight, but can't face playing if it's still crashing...

Juk

EDIT: Just read this on the ps.de forums:
Quote:
So for me it is normal for 2 hours no probs. (Play the classic theme)
Are the crashes only happening to people on the "new" tables?

Hi Juk,

I only play on the classic tables and had the crashes earlier in the day. I have had no crashes since 17:30 UK time.

Scrub that - doesn't seem to work for me - trying an updated version of PartySNGHelper, but won't be sure it's worked until I start a few sessions with it.

Thanks, I'm playing now and so far so good (only about 30 minutes so far though).
