For days i haven't able to download Party, it's always stuck on 0% downloaded, i've tried every method i've found on Google to fix this but any of you guys have any other ideas?

what did party say when you emailed/live chatted with them?

have you tried completely unisntalling the software (running the uninstaller, deleting party folder and deleting the registry keys (3 different steps)) ?

any chance someone using XP could upload C:\WINDOWS\system32\CTFMON.EXE somewhere for me? i seem to be missing it and i think i need it to fix the problem. :S

Search for and run the program regedit and doubleclick on hkey_current_user -->software there's a map called partygaming. Deleting that (after you completely uninstalled party and all folders) may help.

Why no SNG Monthly Leaderboard this month? I can maybe understand they removed it for the MTTs with the rakefree promo, but not SNG players.

Maybe because the race rake promotion for palladium members , sad , sng monthly leaderboard always add some little % to the RBK

I got this today. "Please finish current hand..." but everything continued as normal.

Also, any SNG players getting a bug that seems to highlight all the SNG buyins when you are trying to find a table?

It's like im click-and-holding and then dragging down all the limits...only way to remove it is to go to a different SNG format tab and then back.

Years later and the "updates" are still hurting more than they are helping...

have you resolved this yet? I'm getting this issue still and unable to resolve it (so not mod related now lol) what OS are you running?

edit: mate found a fix at pokerstrategy; You have to go to C:\WINDOWS\system32 et then launch ctfmon.exe (nothing happen because it works as a process) and then start PP soft again.

anytime i click on a game, limit, table, table type in the cash game lobby a very annoying sound is made. is it suppose to do this?

^ never had that or heard of people experiencing that, even after disabling sounds in preferences. try that though

Is partypoker like the 3rd most popular poker site or something? It use be number 1 back like 5-6 years ago. I know games aren't soft anymore but are there reasons why people don't play on partypoker as oppose to stars?

I just checked their traffic and i see lots of sngs running and that is what i played before BF. I don't play cash but took a look at their cash games and they have tons of tables as well.

Yeah, moomies, u cant disable that... I am afraid ur stuck with it. Tried everything with no successss. New notebook/new windows solved the problem for me o_O

it's about tied for 3rd with ipoker, behind stars, if u look at pokerscout

it's not as popular since it was years ago (back when it allowed US players) but it's still an ok site to play on. not great, support is pretty incompetent, the software has serious issues that get ignored, people have been banned for no reason, there are bots, it didn't make the most of people looking for a new site after black friday, etc., but ok. regs are aware of the risks and since they're small for each individual it's still +EV to play. games are soft but not mega-soft or anything, there are still bumhunting regs to compete with.

i think the main fault with the site is the rake is pretty high, you have to grind palladium + to make it worthwhile imo, and even then you're going to have to monitor ur results in HEM carefully to make sure it's still worth it to you to play, depending on ur playing style (with the switch to weighted-contributed rake few months back a lot of ppl lost some value), games, etc. SNGs have overly high rake at the $11 level and below.

Yes rake is high for sngs but there are rewards. Do you know how much that converts to in terms of percentage in terms of rakeback?

the rewards aren't enough compensation if the SNG fees are as high as they are at low stakes. 10% rake should be the absolute max a SNG reg tolerates paying before RB, ideally less. but you do the math and work out which site is best, no ones gonna do that for you. if you play SNGs on party they should be mid and high stakes

Are the sng games on party a lot harder than stars?

party is pretty soft compared to stars imo... SSNL cash is anyway. Same with $5-$10 sngs.

it's listed as a restricted country under 2.20 here https://www.partypartners.com/legal.do

i think that means you can't play, but check with support first. phone them, they ignore emails all the time
