Hey y'all. I experienced a very strange and worrying bug today and wonder if anyone else might have encountered it (got the usual 'it's probably your fault, we cant repay you as a showdown wasn't seen etcetc' response from CS).

I was playing cash tables, and also ff tables. I left a regular table to come back and reseat myself better (get pos on a fish) and started playing a big pot. On the turn, as soon as I bet, the table disappeared. I found the table in the lobby, opened it again from the lobby, and yes I wasn't sat there anymore. So my hand was automucked. Pretty costly and very frustrating.

All other tables were playing out as normal; it was only the table which I left and came back that suddenly closed on me.

Any thoughts as to why this might have happened?

you got timed out on that table, its a feature implemented exactly to prevent changing seat

Timed out? Might need that one explained to me. Why would the software allow me to sit back down, post blinds and go halfway through a hand before booting me? And also if this is a feature how does CS not inform me when I explained the situation to them?

you re banned from that table for 10 mins, must have been some bug/lag that allowed you to seat back dunno

Fun fact if you dc and get kicked out you can't join a table for 10 minutes either. It's funny when there are only few tables running so yo are basically screwed.

Thinking of depositing on PartyPoker. I use PT4. Just curious on if my HUD will work, and if I'll be able to track my results.

They do not provide support for 3rd part sw but they store HHs, so you can import them. Although, those HHs are anonymized, so all the other players will not show their nicknames (just Player #). For your tracking, it works somewhat ok, but sometimes a few hands don't get imported because the tracker (PT4) finds them to be wrongly created.

I'm not 100% following. Will I have to download the HH's and import them myself, or should my hands be automatically tracked with PT4? Also still not sure whether HUD will work or not?

I will raise with CS management regarding your comment about receiveing the same email - however its best to discuss with CS and ask for a follow up regarding the closed account
If the account was closed they likely have solid evidence or have received a complaint from another player

... so you just need to set PT4 up with their folder (it autodetects it, btw) like with any other site.

As I said, you'll see a HUD, but your opponents will be named as Player 1, Player 2, etc... because the HHs are anonymized. All their hands will be grouped by those generic nicknames, so it has very little use.

Massive changes here with this rake reduction for hypers.

In fast forward the hands are not anonymized. I think it's because of the nature of fast forward not allowing bumhunting and no seating scripts but I'm guessing here.

I have been reading that HUDs are banned whilst playing on Party, is this correct? I have looked through the terms and conditions but can't find anything that says PT4 or HM2 is prohibted.. Cheers

This is the 2nd time on short notice party poker are screwing up there customers over the past few years and everyone seems happy? Not sure I follow?

Nobody remember when they decide to change the system and remove palladium elite? everyone that was accumulating a ton of points got there rakeback drop from 50-60% to 22-27% (not sure exactly) without any real notice.

Or when WPT poker close down and they didnt let us change our points for cash, everyone had to buy some stupid ipad/iphone at 2x vs real price???

Now they change the points wich is a pretty obv massive money grab, if you wanted to do this right you just had to auto convert points for cash.

HUDs are not banned, they never were and probably never will be but you won't get stats to show on regular cash games unless you use forbidden 3rd party tools. HUD works fine on fast forward, STT, MTT etc.
