party let me report to you how midstakes games run now.

when a table starts to break because a recreational player or whatever has left the regs all now insta sit out and leave the table. They do this because they have no idea whether or not the table is visible in the lobby to other recreational players. It used to be that we had incentive to play against each other to keep a game going that might encourage other players to join us. But now every table insta breaks and the regs go and open new tables and wait for others to join.

And if a HU game gets started and one or two other regs sit the table tends to break as well because we have no idea if that table with an open seat or two is visible to recreational players.

there is no longer any incentive for regs to play each other to keep games going or to start new games. Because we have no idea if those games are actually open to the public. I saw more sitting out, table jumping, seat jumping, and game breaking today than I have ever seen on Party before. And that is saying something because it's always been bad.

But you know what the worst part about all of this? I had to join in. I'm not going to be the only reg battling shorthanded against other regs while the good seats at new tables get taken. So I had to keep shutting down tables and opening up new ones to.

I used to game select a little, but most of the time when a game broke I'd try to keep it going for a little while unless I had 12-16 games going. but now I just shut it down and look for a new table.

If this is the kind of site that you think will be better for recreational players then by all means keep it going. But I can tell you that they are going to be in for a rude awakening when they get thrown to the sharks eventually.

Extensive research shows that new and inexperienced players enjoy the game more and continue playing for longer if in the early stages their preflop shoves and chased gutshots win more often.

ALL tables are visible to losing players. It's just that sometimes ehen a tables consists of several losing players it get's hidden.

Segregating full ring games was like the most ******ed idea ever unless they wanted to completely kill the game. There were like 10 tables max at each strakes on nl100/nl200 now there is like max 5-6 which makes it impossible to grind. There isn't enough liquidity at full ring games to do the segregation!!!!
