Some questions regarding rakeback

Hi everyone,
I was planning on moving to a different site in the new year - most likely on the iPoker network - and have been trying to make sense out of rakeback.
First of all - am I right in thinking that it's OK to sign up to one (iPoker) skin with a rakeback affiliate, and then move to another once you've completed the first deposit bonus? Can you still get rakeback on other skins with the same/different affiliate? Is this generally the best way to maximise rakeback, or is it more worthwhile to stick to a single skin and work your way up their VIP program?
I don't mean for this to be a contentious question, but on what grounds should I choose one affiliate over another? I realise that the affiliates that post in this forum are paying advertising partners and I have no doubt that they are all good, legitimate companies, but to someone who doesn't know a whole lot about this stuff the deals they offer all seem pretty similar to me. Indeed, how do I know that there aren't better deals available elsewhere? I'm finding it difficult to find impartial advice both within and outside the confines of 2+2.

The best way to maximise your returns is to contact the affiliates here who can advise you in more detail.
There is certainly no issue with signing up at as many iPoker sites as you wish though.
Contacting the affiliates here will help you solve your second question. In general their deals will compare with the best out there. There are of course a few good affiliate who dont advertise here. Some may contact you. You can always seek references from other 2+2ers.
