It seems NY players no longer have WU as an option in their cashier, and they already could not get checks in the state.....so they effectively are shutout financially?

I know the rep said he has nothing to do with that side of operations, but maybe Ice can ask the higher ups for some info regarding the MD lockout?
In before they tell us our money is safe and their top priority is returning the money of the affected players.

FWIW my sources tell me today's news only affects MD and no other states. even for new players. I would just like some sort of statement by Bovada.

I talked to the rep and asked him "well if I move to washington dc could i then play at bovada" and the rep said "no, because washington is one of the states affected." obviously i meant DC, and upon repeating DC she gave the same answer. Regardless, based on this answer it seems at the very least that new players in the state of Washington would not be accepted. I agree that Bovada really needs to come out with an official statement to clear things up, because it is certainly possible that the CS reps are themselves confused on what is happening. Seems clear that MD is banned, which clearly sucks super hard for yours truly. Carbon seems like my last hope lol.

LOL @ the DC thing. It's great that they have a phone number you can call and all, but if they can't figure out how to read a map then what's the point?

For your situation, what about a PO box/mailboxes etc. in a neighboring state? You only need it to receive checks, and if you go something like mailboxes, etc. it looks like a normal street address. Just give them that and go from there.

Exportable hand histories! (and importable to hem/pt). I'm ok if they aren't avail for 24 hours to prevent huds.

Also, on the review games screen it shows how you did (+ or - amount) but makes you do the math for start to finish times to figure out how long the session was. I feel like this would be a trivial addition.

A notification when you have 5 or 10 seconds left to act like the old bd software would be nice.

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

yeah that's a damn good idea XaQ, im trying to think of what could go wrong with that though. verifying my residence would be tough. if they allowed me to get a WU in DC that would be great. Otherwise, the check would be deposited in a MD bank and I suppose that might be a problem.

I can confirm Bovada is blocking new players from creating accounts in WA state.

I wrote that article early in the day. I went from what I could confirm which was it was only Maryland. A post in the other thread says no new Washington State players. The poster did not post a source, but I am sure they did not just blindly post it. There must be some way they know/think that. I think it is too late for my sources to be around on the east coast. It is frustrating that there is nothing official from Bovada on this. It seems support is not even sure what happened today.

FWIW, if new Washington State players are banned, there will be no major online poker room for new players in that state to play.

If you've followed the direction Bodog has been headed for a number of years now, this isn't something you'd expect them to do anytime soon IMO. Mass multitablers are pretty much the opposite of the market they've been targeting.

I think the should offer more tables if they can in the future. It actually would benefit the site. The vast majority of multi-table players (10+ tables) are BE players that get profit from RB. They dont offer rakeback or a reasonable VIP program. Masstabling cuts into your edge from my experience (former 20 tabler on PS). Only players who are a cut above the rest can make a profit long term.
