Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

I downloaded the mac version yesterday and keep having the same error message "your login request cannot be processed at this time. please try again." I've called several times and done troubleshooting. They told me yesterday that mac users were experiencing issues. Can I get an update? I want to do my first deposit while the 200% bonus is available. Work has been slow and i need to be crushing the tournament schedule asap. I am going to be pissed if this issue isn't resolved by this weekend. The plan was to crush all weekend!!!!

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

ok, aside from the troll(s), does anyone know the issue with bodog pulling out of markets at the end of August?
I'm concerned that other sites could follow that. Or is it just a bodog thing?

Right now its closed atleast: Romania, Hungary, Estonia, Slovenia. Probably most eastern-european countries.

I do not know the reason because no-offical Bodog annoucement and probably its not coming either.

I guess Bodog made this decision because these poor eastern european countries not making any reasonable profit. Also not depositing but withdrawing lots of the money. But its not fact, its my guess.

It's been addressed several times in this thread now. It hasn't been that long since the network upped the min buyin to 30 big blinds, and that is the point where they are happy with at this time.

Glad to know this is working now. Please let me know if you have any issues with it in the future.

Anybody know what the issue is?

With regards to this, it is up to the operators dictate who they offer their services to. If you have any questions about this operator's decision, you will have to contact that operator's customer service.

Cool, thanks. As a headsup, and also a warning to anyone, if you download and install the version of Bovada from the website, the shortcut doesn't point to an executable. Looks like some programmer screwed up his app package. Problem is that half of their solutions for problems are to uninstall/reinstall.

If you run into this, change the shortcut from C:\Bovada\BovadaPoker.exe to C:\Bovada\original\BovadaPoker.exe (or wherever you have Bovada installed).

I don't know if it's the same for the rest of the Bodog sites.

Re: *** Official Bodog Network Support Thread ***

Hey guys, I figured I would download Bovada and give it a shot since the cash out speed is improving (even though I do not like anonymous tables). However, I am having trouble downloading the client. Every time I try to install it, it says missing shortcut or something similar to that. I am just wondering if you guys might have any advice for me. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. They really need to address this issue as soon as possible.

No, this is not standard. I would definitely not give out my SSN to MG or WU.

Well this has been out there since at least the 4.3.3 version which is what, 3 weeks now? Bodogavada has never been fast with anything. There are bugs and major issues that have been in the software release since last Fall that they say they are "working on" or "will be released soon" that haven't seen the light of day.

The other problem of course is that with every release they seem to cause more bugs. Some speculation is that they do this on purpose to make it difficult for multi tablers, but my guess is that they just don't have a lot of programming talent available to them in whatever third world country their developers live in.
