I'm in the process of getting my account verified (filling out the long form and attaching photo ID).

Will I still be able to receive player transfers without yet being verified?? (I know on Lock Poker you can receive transfers you just don't have the ability to send transfers until you are verified)

If someone can comment on this I would greatly appreciate it.

@BlackChipRep: Are other Merge skins moving to 6.0 or the new software is exclusive to BCP?

Found out that you don't need to be verified to RECEIVE transfers, just to SEND.

Yes, it's the same: as long as you have verified your email address, and entered your personal details on your account (name, address, etc) you will be able to receive transfers, but until you are verified you cannot send them. Please email vip@black....eu if you have any issues or questions about this.

As far as I know all skins will be moving to 6.0.

are there any discussion on changes to SNG/Tournament games and structures.. As it stands the Revolution network and their new HUSNG and SNG offerings are FAR SUPERIOR to that of merge.

The new software is great, but please please please discuss improving game selection and what not! The better you structure things the more people will want to play here.

How do we get our accounts switched to 35% rakeback?

There's been some discussion in the heads up sng forum: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...postcount=4689

Also some discussion privately, we're working on a chain mail to help improve the HUSNG super turbo structure on Merge.

I totally agree, just two more blind levels being added would make a huge difference (lower blind levels such as 30-60, 40-80, no higher than 75-150 or it is irrelevant to ST HUSNGs).

If you can get a consensus from not just pros and regs, but also recreational players then we will put it to Merge, but last time we added extra levels to the blinds on the ST HUSNGs it was a very unpopular move and Merge rolled the changes back. When you have a consensuse on clear changes you are after to the structure, please email us (vip@...eu) and we will put it to Merge. Thanks again.

Thanks for the reply.

Last time they added 150-300 and 300-600 blinds I believe, which are not relevant at all (and not what pros even wanted, nor casual players).

I think they also got confused because 6 max STs were changed at the same time and players got really upset about that.

---

Both pros and recreational players do not want to play very short stacks (0-10bb for example, but particularly 0-7bb) where it is just a shove or fold area.

Therefore, adding a few lower blind levels should improve the structure drastically for both player types (take your pick, 30-60, 40-80, 60-120, 75-150, probably two of those would work well, or lowering levels to 2 minutes if you add 3 or 4 of those levels).

I'll get a consensus though, so far we have about 10 signatures. I hate to have to say it like this, but just about half are not winning players (same with 2p2 in general, many more non winning players than winners here).

By the way, while I'm in the Black Chip Thread, I want to say, I've promoted BCP for a little less than a year now and have been nothing but satisfied.

Whether it is promos, network news, tracking issues, player support or top rate player rewards, Chase and Nathan have been top notch.

Further, BCP has demonstrated that they won't give in to reckless cashout options (you see some other places that have a large # of bounced checks when they go outside of the Merge cashier for primary cashouts). Fairly often speedy, and almost always reliable cashouts in this environment is top notch. There's a reason why the trades for BCP are usually the highest rates on Merge.

And unlike a lot of the "new blood" affiliate players, I am aware of all the major Merge skins, their conduct, their maximum affiliate percentages and all that stuff, so this was a decision where I would not have hesitated to promote other skins instead of BCP (I actually went from Carbon only to BCP priority, Carbon secondary).

There were some less responsible US facing rooms that would've meant more money in my pocket, but the price of being able to refer players to a responsible skin is worth a lot more than some short term money grab to me. Players appreciate that long term.

Thanks for the great feedback. Please email me when you have that consensus and we can go from there. It would be good to have a nice cross-section of the playing community weighing in. Thanks again!

+1 on all that.

I've been on the site since BF basically and I have nothing but good things to say about the company.

Their customer service is top notch and does everything it can to help.

There's no need to play on any other Merge skin once you join BCP.

BlackChipRep, all of my documentation has been sent in for verification. Can you confirm or deny if I have been verified?

Hi, I just checked and nothing has been uploaded. This usually happens as a result of the scans/photographs being too large (> 2Mb). There is a flaw in the current system, whereby when your upload fails you don't actually see an error - very annoying, I know, will be fixed in the new software coming soon.

You should be able to compress them to around 500Kb, or smaller, per image and then upload them and let me know. If you are unable to do this please email them to vip@blackchippoker.eu and I will upload them for you. Thanks

PM sent via email to BlackChipRep about getting my account verified via other verified sites on Merge network, hopefully this works
06-01-2012 , 02:33 AM
BlackChipRep,

Just so you know I sent everything in via email. I attached 3 different photos within the email, and I know for certain these went through. Perhaps you were looking at a different database? Because these were all attached via email.

Regardless, I appreciate the time and effort you took to look into the matter.
06-01-2012 , 07:32 AM
BCP specifically requests that you not send verification documents via email. you're supposed to do it from inside the client.
06-01-2012 , 08:12 AM
That's okay - sometimes people have trouble uploading the documents and it's necessary to email them. Cheers buddy.

Is this the right place to ask about the deposit options on Black Chip, and how much success people have had with them?
