Is there a known issue/bug where money is counted twice ("double-dipped") right after closing tables?
Yes that happens.. if you refresh cashier after closing tables, the correct updated total balance will show.

WPN client forces the use of Internet Explorer or equivalent Microsoft browser on your PC. We've seen a lot of success with your problem by simply updating IE and rebooting. If that doesn't work, clear cookies and cache in IE and reboot.

If still nothing, update windows, flash, quicktime, java, etc, then uninstall BCP client, then reboot, then reinstall BCP.

you issue a cheque which can't be cleared, why can't you ask your bank the reason?
23:48Joan U:
You can cash the check here Check-cashing stores: Local mom-and-pop stores often come to mind when you search for checking-cash services. - Retailers: Major retailers, such as 7-Eleven, Wal-Mart and some supermarket chains, offer check-cashing services, which likely cost less than those available at check-cashing stores and banks. At some 7-Eleven locations, you can find kiosks that let you cash checks for a flat 0.99 percent convenience fee. Wal-Mart charges $3 for checks of $1,000 or less and $6 for checks greater than $1,000 and no more than $5,000. (The limit increases to $7,500 from January to April for tax refund checks.) - Prepaid accounts: As financial institutions and other companies find that a large portion of the American population is unbanked or underbanked, they have offered prepaid card accounts to cater to this consumer segment. For example, Chase offers a prepaid card that lets you deposit checks at any Chase ATM for free, but the card has a $4.95 monthly fee. A company called Ingo Money works with a long list of prepaid cards to provide mobile check deposit for these card accounts. With the Ingo Money app, you can use your smartphone to take pictures of checks to deposit them into a prepaid account. There is a 1 percent to 4 percent fee for this service and minimum fee of $5 per transaction. - ACE Cash Express will cash it out for you with no problem. https://www.acecashexpress.com/check-cashing - Money Mart. https://www.moneymart.com/check-cashing
23:49louis sze:
I am not in the US
23:49louis sze:
Why cant you ask your bank the reason?
23:51louis sze:
my bank said that if the cheque can't be cleared, I would be fined $250
23:52louis sze:
Do you have a supervisor or manager which I can talk to?
23:53Joan U:
Is this your address ****?
23:53louis sze:
yes
23:54Joan U:
Can you get the check an try to cash it out some other place?

So I am nearly seven days deep into Black Chip telling me I "simply need to wait" for my WU deposit to clear. Should I just seek a refund from WU? Is that a pain in the a$$? Never tried cancelling a WU transaction before.

It's simple too cancel a wu transaction, but do it by calling wu directly. They may decide to not refund the fee you paid... only the amount sent. Make up an excuse like the receiver went to a wu location and they refused to pay it out so that maybe they refund the fee also.

^^ This is terrible advice. If you cancel your transaction, you could end up blacklisted at Black Chip. And not only Black chip, but all of Winning Poker Network. And not only all of WPN, but other online gambling sites as well since sites share info on customers who default.

Also, telling lies to WU, lies that they can verify as untrue, is a bad idea if you want to avoid being blacklisted (which definitely happens).

My advice would be to wait. BCP isn't going to steal your money. In fact, if you're still having issues, I suggest you head over to the 2+2 sponsored winning poker network forum and contact one of the mods there for extra support.

Thanks, Kahn. I'm not worried about them "stealing" and I don't mind waiting. I'm mostly curious if it is common. I'll check out the other forum.

Why would you get black listed for cancelling a WU? They just wouldn't credit your account because there is no money to pick up, no harm done. It gets to a level of ridiculous sometimes with how long it takes. I personally don't deposit on a site to play 2 days later, but so goes WPN from time to time.

You wouldn't get blacklisted for cancelling the WU, but for telling a lie that could be verified as untrue, which was also suggested.

FYI: BCP told me to request a refund from WU which I have done. I didn't worry about the transaction fee wit WU and was relatively painless. BCP said they would cover it.

Typical problem-free cash transfer deposits take 15 minutes, not 2 days.

Avg time depositing "problem free" with MG or WU lately has been about 4 hours for me. My last one took over 26 hours just a few days ago. I think I've had one in the last 2 or 3 months that has been less than 2 hours.
01-22-2017 , 06:24 PM
Agreed, in the past its usually taken 1-2 hours. 3 hours at worst. via MG

Well, that is odd. I suppose the 3rd party processor could have changed. But the last time we catalogued this is was 15min turnaround time and until now, I haven't seen any contradictory evidence.

Thanks for the input guys.

Yeah, it's been strange. It kind of started out of no where in December.

This makes me think my theory of a new and different 3rd party processor for WU is correct. I know WU recently paid a $586 million dollar fine for doing illicit transactions. That very well could have shaken things up and resulted in a change of vendors.

I know another offshore company that I play on and recently spoke to said that WU was no longer an option for players. The timing of the events is suggestive.
