The instructions say it must be send in USD Cash, but as far as I've read, everything says that you cannot send USD Cash to Costa Rica, it automatically gets converted to their currency.

I share the same concerns as you when dealing with those shady ass names through WU. But the degen in me did it anyway. I've deposited a few times that way and never had a problem. In fact, it was really easy and super fast getting the money on the site. Granted it wasn't a thousand bucks. It was a couple hundo, a couple times. Another plus is that BCP reimbursed the WU fee. At least they did before. GL sending to Manila pacaqito. Or w/e.

Yeah, I requested a new name and I'm sending money to Nicaragua now. Sweet.

Hey BCP rep, could you PM me and walk me through this deposit so I can stop posting publically?

They have chat support. Way easier.

The rep I have does not speak English, does not answer questions, and I spent 55 minutes on the line with him and he sent me like 10 responses.

you can also buy BCP money in the transfer thread, if WU/etc doesn't work out for you

1. You get the receiver details of who you will be sending to from the site/support(looks like you have that already).

2. Walk into any store that has Western union(plenty of grocery stores have them)

3. Fill out the sending money form with the receiver details that was provided to you. Don't feel weird that your sending X amount of dollars to some random person in a country far away. The clerk most likely has a low IQ and has no idea what your doing and your not doing anything illegal anyway.

Make sure it is being sent in USD(US Dollars, verify that with the clerk).

4. Get on live chat or call in to support and let them know you completed transaction and they will go ahead and put the money in your account. Keep your receipt just in case, I don't remember if you have to provide them with the MTCN# that you will receive after making the transaction with Western Union.

If you gave him the money transfer control number, you should be playing by now. He can probably only answer certain questions about the transfer, and still be polite about it.

Anyway, since your a 2+2er, that's going to be your only deposit, right?

Search for black chip in your email addresses until you find the associated email addy. Take that to live chat and recover your account.

Black Chip Poker's software has just been such a joke lately. It's so damn slow and stupid. You click on 'rewards' to check Beast status, or rakeback, and either nothing shows up and you have to do it again or it takes too long to load. It's 2014 people, get some software that doesn't scream "cheap south American crap." Sit-n-Crush is a monumental failure as well. The Beast continues to get bad reviews on these forums, yet management at WPN doesn't seem to think we know better. I'm watching videos on live poker and rereading some of my books that deal with live play. I'm likely to start playing more live again come the month of February since WPN/BCP doesn't seem to want to make a product that Americans deem good. Yes I am implying that their standards are below what we as Americans expect. Just tired of the substandard options online and need a break from it.

E-mail Support. Tell them your predicament and your name and address.

If they can't trace your old account, ask them if you can open a new one in the circumstances.

Keep a record of the correspondence, in case of any future difficulties.

You can buy a fraction of a bitcoin. You don't have to deposit in round bitcon numbers. It's quite good for small stakes players, all players actually with the speed and low transaction costs. See the link for more info

I haven't tried playing yet today but the micro stakes tables seem to be running albeit a bit low on traffic.
