RE: PLO8 MTTs/ODs

You guys really should make a thread in the Sponsored WPN form at 2+2 since the reps rarely venture outside that forum now.

I have a $1,000 roll that I made from Bovada. I'm tired of the anonymous play and the piss-poor rakeback, but I loved the Omaha games and it looks like BlackChip has a poor Omaha community. Would it be a good idea for me to move the $1,000 over to BlackChip, get 27% rakeback and a 100% bonus on the $1k? Would I be able to clear the entire bonus in 60 days playing 25NL? Is BlackChip a good site? Also how do payouts work and what is the timeframe? Do they have a good payout rep?

Omaha traffic is decent. If you help start tables you should have no problem getting 4+ tables going.

DO NOT play NL25 because the rake at that level is atrocious. You'll be pissing into a 100 mph wind.

So you recommend just NL50+?

NL 50 is still a rake trap. Not as bad as NL 25. Of course if you can play enough to reach the bottom of the beast payouts then its playable.

Forgot to mention that nl25 and nl50 on wpn are probably the toughest on the Internet due to Beast pros grinding those tables.

Since when can one player register for the exact same HU SNG type 15 times at once? Looks even more f'd up than the bumhunters in HU cash >NL50.

I really like the idea of reg-hunting some multi-tabling HUD monkeys.

Bring that to the attention of the WPN Tournament Director in the sponsored forum with screenshots IMHO

There are definitely some players who do this...

I have a different idea. How about the reps, who actually get paid by WPN, do a little damn work and make sure they're visiting all the threads that we the players/customers are posting in? If someone at that company did a little work such as searching for "Black Chip Poker" with the 2+2 search function, I'm sure they would have easily found this thread and would monitor it daily. They're the ones who are in business to make money. How about they do a little work on their end for once?

They pay thousands of dollars a month to concentrate their support in a special forum. Posting on 2+2 is not their only, or main jobs.

This is an 'official' thread that was started by their rep. It should be monitored by one of their reps even if it isn't in their dedicated forum, or it should be moved to their forum, IMHO.

How do I deposit $1,000 on the site? The rep guy told me to send a Western Union transaction to some guy in the Phillipines with a weird name. It kind of sketches me out to send money like this. What if they take my money and run?

Person to person transfer thread should do the trick

Better chance of getting scammed there than thoroughly the sites deposit options.

Sites deposit options are max $100, and for more you send it to some weird person in the Phillipines. Can anybody confirmed this is legit?

I PM'd you, if you want to swap with me. but yes that's how western union works.

Let me put it this way. Everyone's main job at a company is to listen to what their customers are saying. No customers = no jobs or other things for them to do. When customers are talking here, then "here" is where they need to be first and foremost.

When did BCP move from Merge to WPN? Are there any posts that talk about this move?

A little over a year ago. Numerous posts, just search the threads. Very old news.

Post-UIGEA all the WU transactions I've done at other sites/networks have also been through random individuals in the Phillipines. If you're going to play from the US your choices are frankly limited.

Integrity-wise, I don't see anything shady about BCP/ACR/WPN and if anyone were getting scammed through WU it would be all over the forums. I can reasonably assure you that it's safe.

I agree. This post is intriguing to me, though...

I think that was a case of OP error and then bullheadedness at not accepting responsibility. It certainly shouldn't be BCP's place to eat his deposit funds, he should be all over WU. As soon as I read his post and saw the recipient name and his insistence on the names being the same, I knew he'd screwed it up as I'm quite familiar with Spanish naming conventions.

As I said, I've done WU transactions with Phillipino people with 3 or 4 names and never had a problem -- I always specified the names exactly as were given to me.

If you decide to go ahead and deposit via wu, i suggest using a self service terminal that has the direct phone line and contact in person at wu. This way you can insist on the EXACT RECIPIENTS NAME, and other requirements. If you do this way, and someone answers that you dont understand well, hang up, wait a few minutes and call back till you get a good operator.
