Its just nuts that they score it that way.
I was playing 15-20 tables for 9 hrs and checked the scoreboard to find i made 27 pts.
When u can earn 25 PTS by entering a 50cent satellite tourn.

Just doesnt make sense.The guys in the top spots have 100 reg pts and 4000 tourn earned pts.There angling the pt system by buying into every 50cent tourn but NOT PLAYING.
they are essentially paying for 1st & 2nd place.
This is smart if u figure it out on day 1 to make a run at the $500 prize but anyone else has no shot.

Just wondering what happens with the debit card once you have withdrawn all the money in your account and then withdrawn all the money off the card.

Will they try to continue taking fees and put you account into a negative balance, then if you ever try to use it again youd be stuck whatever the amount has gotten too?

Its a little tilting the fact that whenever someone asks about a pretty serious matter in this forum the moderator is nowhere to be found.

It gets shut down after a couple negative months or so. There is talk that one can reload the card via WU (for occasions like this)on the forums, but I don't think anyone has 100% confirmed it as of yet.

FWIW, it is just the way they have always done these races since at least since ACR took over. Its not the 5 cent rake they are necessarily looking for Im sure, these sats populate the $215s they are having with the large guarantees. The rake race including the satellites makes sure they are filled all hours of the day.

It is a shame it is deceptive for people who are not used to the site because many might think it was just ring games, but the 50 cent sats are micro games, and they are described in the 5K Micro Race Promotion Page. In the past, they offered even more points if you played in the $215 games as well so that was tough for people who couldn't play in the 215.

But I can understand where you are coming from.

What I found is, when I played these sats in past rake races, I found a way to make money, and got a bonus as well.

Of course no one tells you this at Winning Network or describes the process. But why should that surprise

I don't think this is going to change, it's already been set-up this way, it's live, the material on our website explains exactly how it works, so to change it now isn't possible.

I assume it was setup this way to encourage people to join in the OSSII satellites, to ensure those tournaments filled. I understand this isn't to everyone's liking, and I guess the mistake was calling it a "Micro" race seeing as playing micros is going to help you very little in getting to the top of the leaderboard.

We have made WPN aware, and I guess (edit: maybe I am wrong, based on the post a couple above) this wont happen again, but it's free money - being put up by the network - so, frankly I don't understand the reference to WPN "stealing" from anyone.

I am playing the satellites (which are full of inactive players bonus whoring) to keep my place on the leaderboard, but just wondering what happens if I get lucky again.

Thank You for the response. Yes, you can email for anything, but don't even you think something as important as the debit card should list all the important features? I think when they will inactivate your card is very important, and how they handle the $5/monthly issue.

If I emailed everything asking Winning Network what was left out of its descriptions, errors on the site, mistakes that cost me money, I could be in email all day long.

I thought I had figured out how Winning Network was skipping addons in rebuys, it seemed if you changed tables during actual addon portion you missed your addon. But just now none of that happened and at least two of us in room did not get addon. I mean, does software just randomly skip addons. Irritating, plus players are telling me when you contact support, they are suggesting it is nothing on their end. ridiculous. Of course, this, among many other problems has been reported for quite a while now.

I will send email to support (as I am sure many have) to report this issue as well. Now happened to me 6 times in last several days

I played a rebuy satellite on Tuesday and was never asked if I wanted to add on. I thought I just missed it somehow, but reading the above post suggests otherwise.

They have the most unique way of generating addons than any other poker site I have played on. 100% of other rooms have a period where they actually ASK if you want the addon (and some provide an addon button that will automatically give you one). ACR/BCP/True is the only network where they just automatically give you the addon as they pass from level 12 to 13 (in a turbo rebuy) or whatever level the specified rebuy period ends on.

The current problem is for some reason the software randomly denies addons for some players even if you have the button pushed (while giving the addons to everyone else).

Anyone know how long the VISA processor has been down ?
