Just got confirmation on rakeback being added to my account. However I can't bring myself to put in any serious volume on BCP until the new software update. My main gripes are villian's hole cards are way too small, the whole mucked cards issue, HEM compatibility, etc. Also the BBJP at small stakes has got to go. Srsly.

I think having it all is ridiculous. Just take a bigger % of the BBJP payout for the house instead of adding it to the already insane rake at micro/small stakes.

Rake race payments are usually three days after it is over. Its come as quick as one day and as longs a five day (within five business days is what the site says)

Calling if he / she was the last aggressor - otherwise no, you cannot see the mucked cards of the opponents.

The timebank and tables not popping to the front and the fact that you can't even hear alerts most of the time is the worst problem with the software. No telling how much I've lost due to these issues over the 6 months or so I've been playing on WPN. I almost never lose my timebank on Merge or Revolution but I lose it early in most games on WPN. I'll be so glad when this is fixed.

I actually don't think the problem is auto timebanking as I'm pretty sure it's already automatic unless it's recently been changed but when the table don't pop to the front and you can't hear the alert it's just too easy to time out.

EDIT: The non-auto clickable timebank is new and you do have to click it. Trust me though it's actually better than before because while you may have your hand folded at least you don't just lose your timebank. Until the pop front and alerts are improved I'd rather have it this way. I lost my timebank all the time when it was automatic.

Is it possible to change ones name on Black Chip Poker? I am wondering because I made an account along time ago on Black Chip when it was still with merge or whatever network it was. I never deposited or played at all and started to play on another site. Now that I've found out about the new and improved Black Chip on the Winning poker network I am wanting to play again on the site but I want to use to a different name than the one I used when I made the account months ago. Is this possible? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

You signup for rakeback before joining a site, not afterwards.

That's true most of the time, as affiliates are paying a large portion of their revenue share to players for signing up through them. But there are a number of sites now that offer direct rakeback, and will allow players to get it after the fact. Now that this thread has been merged into the BCP thread, their rep should be able to provide the answer.

Here is a suggestion for the new software:
-make the windows be able to pop to front WITHOUT forcing it to steal focus from others. Basically what I am getting at is that right now, when the windows pop to front, if you are typing on another window, you cannot keep typing when it is your turn to act. Makes it impossible to take any notes or do anything else while playing.

I have issues with mine popping to the front at all.

Ive played on some bad networks but the absence of most needed and expected attributes are clearly missing from this site.Besides support being there for you at the drop of a dime,There really isnt anything good to say about the site.


*Every table seems to be a BBJ table collecting a zillion dollars rake per hand.None of the players seem to realize this at the micro stakes because theyre probably all Helmet wearing,nimrod,fishcakes.


*Multitabling is near impossible due to card size and tile table sizes.
*Note taking is absurd with un-seeable icons on each player,and when its ur action on a diff table the cursor leaves the note box causing you to have to sit out to take a minor hand note.
*No theme choices.(its either the blue tables or black,blacker or blackest)
*CANT SEE MUCKED CARDS
*No tracking software works yet.Not too bad if the NOTE feature were at all usable.
*Lack of simple features such as "sit out next BB" or a decent "visual" hand history.
*The only useful thing is the "straddle" option which is kind of cool.Whoopdy Doo.
*No Timebank
