Is the site down? I started playing at ACR Friday and played a lot over the weekend with no problems. Now when I try to start up the site, it is constantly "configuring" and never pulls up the home page. My internet is working perfectly. So then I uninstalled the old software and re-installed. Same thing happens.

am i the only one experiencing a disaster of an update?

1) typing in bets doesnt change the bet button to what i typed. only way to bet what i typed is to hit enter.

2) jack pot sit n gos are an absolute disaster. i can only register for $2 games. the increase buy in slider doesnt let me click on it. cant observe games anymore. my bank roll never updates in the jack pot window. so far about 90% of the time when i have logged in the jack pot lobby never loads

i have uninstalled and re installed twice.

the site is basically useless. its amazing really

Totaly agree. Site is disaster.. I was cashed all my BR yestrday, it is first time that i cashed out. I asked on online chat, how much does it takes to recive money on Skrill. He said to me aprox. 1 month. Are u kidding me? And so far no email about that i cashed out my BR. Nothing at all. They are some weak players at cash game, but dont lose your time and patience guys. Site is ****.

I finished a SNG about 10 minutes ago and there was a little bit of lag, a freeze of maybe ten seconds about once every other orbit.

I can't speak to the other problems, but I don't think that the support people are really trained or empowered to do much of anything. Here's an example:

I was playing a tournament where lagging was really bad, to the point that time clocks were running down to zero. I got on support and told the person, in real time, exactly what was happening on my table. He said that the entire tournament has been paused, all tables.

I told him that wasn't true, I gave him all the info and I told him all he had to do was call up my table and see for himself. He couldn't or wouldn't do that.

Several instances like that lead me to believe that support is either incompetent or helpless. I think that they are helpless. I believe that they are following a script and that they are not trained or empowered to do anything to help the players in most situations.

How did you get that information? I play on ACR almost every day and I've never seen such a notification.

EDIT: I usually (alas, not always) check all the ACR/WPN threads before I play to make sure it's working. I didn't know they was another way to know this.

This is something that's bothered me for a long time and I finally decided to just say it.

What exactly is the purpose of this thread? It's supposed to be a "Help Desk" but ACR Rep hasn't posted in a very long time. If it's just here so that players can complain to each other, then what's the point?

I submit that either:

2. Someone from ACR that believes the "Help" part of Help Desk should be responding to our concerns, or

2. This thread should be discontinued.

I'm the only person registered for a tournment that was supposed to start half an hour ago. I wrote to support and they asked for account information and said it was going to take a while

I gave him the tournament number in my initial message. He asked for my account information. Then 5 minutes later he asked me to wait. How hard can it be to pull up a tournament and see that it only has one person it it.? ACR support is a joke. No one from ACR will respond in this thread, so this thread is pointless.

I rest my case.

I have not even been able to play since the update, my poker laptop is on Windows Vista and I'm starting to think they wiped out Vista players?

Agreed. They should have some kind of system for contacting players about scheduled maintenance and other such issues. I think I heard something about a technology called "texts."

So i've recently started playing on ACR, i signed up because they offered jackpots (the games know as spins on stars) as those are the only games i wanted to play, i spoke to them on the live chat, asked them about deposit bonuses etc, how long one has to clear it, etc.

Since their update the 'Jackpots' have been unplayable (apart from $2 ones) so i've been unable to work through my bonus, that was offered and apart of the reason i signed up to their site.

Here is a live chat convo i had with one of their reps...



I would assume they have broken some sort area within their Terms of Service...
As I stated, i had signed up to be an affiliate for their site and have recently started streaming games on their site. If they are unwilling to help a player that is actively trying to help their business grow, then i would assume they are not going to help you in any way shape or form, if you are considering putting money on this site, i would strongly urge you not too.

In a market where the 'offsites' are having a rough time, i thought customer acquisition and retention would be something they would really strive to out perform the bigger sites.
