This response was told to many and complete BS. Why would they go ahead and cancel a MTT because of a problem on our end...

FWIW I had absolutely no problems uploading to twitch my stream or anything else involving my ISP other than connecting to WPN.

Take the blame already and admit your servers/ISP for WPN network was at fault. Dont turn it around and blame your customers/player base. That just aint right

I think they cancelled those mid tournament so they can cancel the million guarantee if it looks like it is going to overlay big and then can say same issues we had on December 8th....

After being hung up on several times calling customer service, they informed me that they had to cancel some tournaments due to the fact that they were "switching servers."

Makes sense. During prime time hours while running OSS tournaments.

A more likely story is that they sent out free money to players as well as snail mail promos letting those players know about it. They aren't switching servers, they are trying to stop them from melting...

This site needs a sit in all tables option that players can access with ease instead of finding out 10 minutes later (or worse) that they have gone inactive on a table due to a lag timeout.

Their is nothing more frustrating then firing up 15+ sng/mtt tables and running into this issue that 99% of the time isn't on my end.

im in the free roll to the $1m and the table froze for a min and then came back. tournament is running fine but theres a message in the middle of the screen saying they are canceling MTTs and refunding. idk what this means because im playing still

update: now its suspended and nothings happening. kind of annoying because im second in chips (sick brag bro)

For awhile, I had the lobby telling me I was disconnected from the server, while at the same time I had multiple tables open and running without issue.

Now, every lobby screen is taking forever to load, if they load at all. Trying to sit into a game seems like a great way to get disconnected mid-hand and lose money for no reason. I'll pass for now.

idk whats going on. it popped up that the tournament is canceled and the payouts are in accordance to their rules and it said i finished in second place. i found the tournament in the lobby and it shows that i went out somewhere in the 500's and now its gone from the lobby and my account has $1 extra in it. where do you find your tournament tickets?

I hate this site...even without the connection issues...

It's not practical for people to fit LOW STAKES 9-10 hour long tournaments into a daily 9-5 work schedule. This is the main reason people don't deposit money on the site. People don't have time to start a tournament at 7:00 pm and finish the final table at 4:00 am when they have to be up for work at 6:00 am and there is only $500-1,000 for 1st place.

Absolute/Ultimate Bet found success is structuring tournaments that were 5-6 hours in length and got a person to bed by 1:00 am. That's a big part of the reason I switched from Pokerstars. That structure gave them 30,000 players a night even with big competitors like Pokerstars and Fulltilt in their prime.

Why Americas Cardroom is pushing 500-1,000 player, 9-10 hour long marathon tournaments with a small amount of prize money on people is a total mystery to me... The $3 rebuy on Pokerstars during its prime was a tournament that consistently had 5,000 players daily and was finished in 9-10 hours tops... Sometimes, 8 hours. People played in that tournament because it had a $10,000 first prize for a $3 buy in. They're willing to stay up late when there is that much money on the line....not for a little chump change $1,000-$2,000 first prize. I understand that they lack the capital and player pool to offer higher gaurentees, but they need to structure their tournaments in a more logical and practical manner in order to motivate more players with day jobs to come deposit money on the site and buy into their tournaments. Over time...when more players come and more money gets made and higher amounts of players leads to higher amounts of prize money...then you can structure your tournaments like the big boys....but until then, you need realize that you're a little infant in this industry and you need to structure your tournaments accordingly.

Why is Americas Cardroom ignoring tournament structures that built multi-billion dollar websites and have practicality in the real world where people work jobs and don't have time to sit in their god aweful 9-10 LOW STAKES marathon tournaments?

Go back to the old ways:

Standard Rebuys= $1,500 starting chips with add on option at the break and double rebuys. 10 min levels

Standard daily tournaments= $3,000 starting chips. 10 min levels

Big tournaments on Weekends=$5,000-$10,000 starting chips. Then, and only then, should you go up to 15 minute levels because there is more money up for grabs.

1-2 HOUR LATE REGISTRATION...NOT 4 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
