Now I'm really confused.

The weekend rake races are or are not ONLY for ring games? It says "only points earned in Ring Games count toward to each special $10k Sprint leaderboard." Sounds like only ring games.

But then, "Want to race to the top even faster? Scoop up extra points by playing in our LSOP during the weekends." The LSOP are tournaments with bonuses of up to 500 points per tourney.

Looks an awful lot like the old structure where people playing only the tourneys beat scores of ring game players, like me.

So, the "ONLY" appears untrue. It seems it's the same old rules where you are required to play the tourneys or 12+ hours and 10+ tables if you want win more than $100.

Is it "ONLY" ring games in the weekend races or do the tourneys count toward the 10k weekend races, too?

I certainly hope that a recent bank statement and valid photo ID will be sufficient. I am almost certain that I have read/been told that either a utility bill or bank statement will be just fine. Someone please let me know if I am wrong, thanks.

Is americas cardroom on the same network as merge, carbon lock etc.? If u have an account on the merge network can u still open one up on acr and start playing? thanks

No, and Merge isn't a poker room. Carbon and Lock are poker rooms on the Merge network; America's Cardroom and True Poker are poker rooms on the Winning Poker network (formerly Yatahay).

Hey guys, I will be making a WU deposit tomorrow and want to go ahead and get my account verified. Do I send the required documentation to ACR's regular support e-mail address? Or, is there is a special e-mail address for documents etc... On average, what is the turn around time for validation? Thanks, and see you guys at $50 NL tomorrow night!

Hey guys....I am in need of some ACR funds for some RPM funds. I am beatbookie on both sites. I have posted this request in the transfer thread but not getting a lot of interest so wanted to put it here as well since more people with ACR funds may be reading.

Willing to send first and pay extra $10 bonus.

Mods - please delete if this is not allowed.

It sure does look that way. There was a glimmer of hope until I read the entire thing through and saw that they didn't learn their lesson at all, there is virtually no change. Guess rampant complaints from cash game players, who bring in the most revenue for them, are not very important.

The rakeback link was gone yesterday after they updated the rewards tab with the new races, I just checked again and it is now back top left just above the 60k race ranking.

Rakeback is not awarded automatically, you have to sign up through sites that advertise it. Just google for the best offer.

So I just signed and am browsing the games, all I see is Holdem. Are there really no omaha games? I'm I doing something wrong? When will omaha and other games be available?

Thanks

There is Omaha, both hi and hi/lo. Also, they have stud and a few other games that may or may not be available yet. You have to click on the appropriate tab, and make sure you switch from NL to PL for Omaha. Hope this helps!

THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!! I am really frustrated right now, as I have tried to make a deposit twice this week via WU over the phone and it hasn't worked either time. I am very polite, casual, and of course I don't say it's for poker etc... All I want to do is play some poker in the privacy of my own home, but I can't. Sorry for this rant, but I really needed to vent. I guess I will just have to drive 55 minutes to the casino so I can play 30 hands per hour. Anyway, have a good night everyone.

Why don't you drive 5 minutes to WU and give cash to the dude at the desk?

Done... Played online poker for the first time since Black Friday last night. Booked a winning session! Sorry for the rant yesterday, I was just frustrated with WU and the bizarre set of circumstances I was involved in. Everything is fine now, see you at the tables!

An alternative to that would be using a bank statement of yours for instance if you don't have any utility bills to prove your address. I can't remember which one I used for this site but one of these will work.
The reason why we ask for a Utility Bill is in order to verify that the address registered on file is legit; this being said, any legal document (such as a bank statement or void check) that is under your name and contains the address on file will work perfectly

In this case for the sprint race, only the cash games will count except for 3 tournaments that are the only ones valid for the sprint race:

Every Friday -1 Seat GTD in LSOP 1 Seat GTD -19:30 Buy In-50+5/200 points
Every Saturday -1 Seat GTD in LSOP 1 Seat GTD-19:30 Buy In-125+12/500 points
Every Sunday -1 Seat GTD in LSOP 1 Seat GTD-19:30 Buy In-125+12/500 points

Only the previous tournament will count for the sprint race, the rest will be cash games.
