Now that some sites are surfacing for US players I'm searching for a new poker home. I've read about 15 of the 51 current pages of posts in this thread and have a sense, especially from the early pages, of a site that is still getting its legs under it and dealing with both organizational and technical processes.

For those of you that are playing on ACR, are you generally happy with the site? I don't need a lot of details unless there is something that really stands out (good or bad) about it.

I am very happy with this site. At first I was a bit unsure, but after playing for a while I have grown to like this site. Obviously, the software still could use improvement. But as far as the customer service, cashouts and game quality I am quite satisfied.

There was no sign or notice of d/c (as mentioned my MTT was running smoothly), but there was never any indication of an opponent sitting at my HU table... all I saw was a table with me seated on one side and an empty seat on the other until the table was closed.

Seems like if there was a very short d/c, there should have been some attempt by the software to reconnect me once the connection returned to normal. Also, would it make sense to auto-un-register upon d/c?
I think this also just happened to me today as well. I disconnected very briefly before anyone joined my game and then reconnected. I just happened to be browsing the lobby and noticed that I was playing in a game and blinding out while my table remained frozen how it was. I clicked on the game in the lobby but it wouldn't go to it. I then closed the whole client and relogged in and it did not take me to my table automatically. I had to manually find it and I had 125 chips left. Fortunately I came back to win the game but it is still ridulous.

I don't expect amazing software from a new site accepting US players and am not picky about many little things like others in this thread. However when my money basically gets stolen from me then that is completely different. I really do not feel comfortable playing here with these issues right now.

I had a bad Internet issue where it was going in and out for a week (my end) and every time I would be on ACR, I would have to manually reconnect.

The software doesn't do it automatically; it asks you if you want to reconnect in a dialog box. That seems to be just the way it is.

Fo sho...haven't used any cashout options yet, but I would def get a debit card it sounds like if you were going to cash out frequently. Games are soft, structures are good, tourneys are meh enough. Quick support too.

Anyone made a cashout lately? If so what was the time frame? Thanks in advance.

You should be a bit more specific because the time does vary depending on the different options such as check and debit card.

That would leave the Help Forum for ACR Rep to moderate for actual help and suggestion issues.
Unfortunately that is not possible for Americas Cardroom right now since the sub forums you mean are sponsored, typically sites don't get that additional exposure for free on 2+2.

Did a wire transfer earlier this month. Total time including account verification was two or three weeks.

Check is the fastest for the US imo, usually takes about a week from what I recall in the thread lately. The debit card is similar to Bodog, but it takes a bit longer to receive it in the first place.

The sites that have sub forums pay two plus two for those.

What are the upcoming Rewards promotions for February? I haven't seen anything pre-promoted yet.

How does the debit card thing work? You get one in the mail?

(Going to be moving to here from minted so just looking at the cashout options)

Yeah, it takes 2-3 weeks to get the debit card by mail from what other US players reported in the thread, but once that is done withdrawals are pretty smooth. Can anyone else confirm that please, since I am not from the US.

Took me less time to get the debit card then it did to get a check sent...

And once you get the debit card cashouts are instant once the cashout is processed

No problem. Also make sure to check for the best offer before you open the account because a few sites offer rakeback. Standard is 27% on the whole network and its paid out once every week (Wednesdays) based on your real money activity of the previous week (Monday - Sunday).

Typically from 7- 14 days

It's not a big deal, but it's a little wierd and should be fixed.
This will be fixed in a future version with many tournament fixes.
