Also, some of us don't just point out problems, we suggest solutions. I have suggested prioritizing problems that affect the integrity of the games over cosmetic changes. I have also suggested accepting input from a players committee (PokerStars does that.) Once I even suggested a coding fix that I thought might fix one of the problems. I will give you an example of what I'm talking about:
The timing of the blinds is off, at least it was the last time I rechecked, a couple months ago. (I will do another check sometime in the next few days.) I played a tournament with 10-minute blind levels. More than 11 minutes into a level, a new hand started, but the blinds did not go up.
I pointed this out, and I carefully documented everything, including timing the tournament with a stopwatch. I gave the tournament number, and the exact number of minutes and seconds into the tournament that it happened.
The response to my post was that what I described was impossible.
Not knowing when the blinds will go up, not knowing whether you are close to the money bubble in a tournament, and other serious problems affecting the integrity of the games have been pointed out for months, multiple problems pointed out by multiple players, and nothing seems to get fixed.
This is much more than one player wanting an instant fix for one problem. It is a site run by people that are either clueless about how poker is supposed to work, by managers who are clueless about running a business and customer service, or both.
Sorry it took me so long to get this done. I did a recheck of this situation, playing a SNG with 10-minute blind levels. My intention was to check every blind level, recording how many minutes and seconds into the SNG the last hand in that level started.
Level 1 was fine, then I got involved in my SNG and forgot about it for a while. My stopwatch was still running, and I wound up checking levels 1, 5, 6 and 7.
6/30/2013, tournament (SNG) #1154050, 10-minute blind levels. All times are given in minutes and seconds after the blinds were posted in hand #1:
Level 1: No problems
Level 5: Hands started at 50:05, 50:49, 51:17, and 51:28
Level 6: Hands started at 60:51, 61:03, and 61:35
Level 7: Hands started at 70:08, 70:42, and 71:32

Reason: Corrected mistyped tournament number.
