Deposited 1100 on this site raked 800 dollars for them good luck with the beast rake. Rake races where ridiculous with the most weight toward ridiculous touranemts the site promoted.

Any bad beat requires you to have 2 cards in your hand maybe i didn't correctly read why tynes didn't get paid but no where live nore online can you win with one card in your hand so can't feel empathy for him there if thats the case.
The beast race doesn't have any tournaments associated with it at all. The new beast race is solely determined by how much rake cash game players contribute at the "jackpot" tables.

Holecards are not shown at showdown on this site. I believe they do it in an effort to protect the fish.

I think many bad beats online come from players disconnect with their bets actually being done with real money, and, of course, you are seeing 4x as many hands per hour, but nevertheless, LOL Omaha bad beat stories.

2 questions. 1: With the visa from ACR am I able to load it outside of my winnings? Like through a store or bank? 2: can I deposit to my account from my visa?

Re: Official Americas Cardroom Help Desk

I joined Doyle's Room when I lived in CA. Tried to cash out once, and they wanted, like a zillion pieces of info, driver's lisc, spinal cord fluid, etc...so I forgot about it. Kept playing. Later, they said I needed a new screen name/user name, and to change my password. Kinda took a break, and played on other sites. Then, I moved to NJ. Then, Black Friday. Now they are America's Card Room. I've e-mailed them a buncha times and never gotten a response. Its not a ton of money on there...I don't even really need it back, but I'd sure like to PLAY POKER again, since they are allowing US players. Advise please.

Re: Official Americas Cardroom Help Desk

Is the new "The Beast" progressive rake jackpot a new jackpot with it's own fee withdrawn from players? Or is it just taking from the fees already in place from playing in the Bad Beat Jackpot(with no new increase)? I sure hope it's not another whole new fee that we're going to pay each hand like the BBJ. I'm just not clear on it...thanks for any clarification. =D

They do have a live chat feature as well as an 800#. Customer service has always been great for me.

yea definitely call them over live chat. Live chat can take a while if you have multiple questions.

It should not be the business of a site to "protect" a certain class of players, whether it's the fish or the big rake generators. Protecting the fish is another way of saying that they will make it more difficult for those starting at the bottom, studying and grinding to beat the fish and work their way up.

I still remember how long a grind it was to learn how to play, and then play $1 PokerStars SNGs until I was properly rolled for the next level, which was then $5.

Flatter tournament payouts, including MTTs that pay 20% of the field, already make it harder for serious players trying to generate an income from poker. Protecting fish is another handicap that we definitely don't need.

Re: Official Americas Cardroom Help Desk

I'm uncomfortable with the hand wave treatment the BBJ situation got. His hand qualifed under the rules posted at the time. really, really poor form

It has already been confirmed that the fee on the BBJ tables doesn't change, just the portion that goes to the BBJ Jackpot will be smaller and the rest will go towards the progressive jackpot aka beast.

Re: Official Americas Cardroom Help Desk

The beast window in the client has taken the place of balance portion of screen ie balance and balance on table. I liked having part of the screen displaying balances.

I don't think your quite understanding. If a player calls my hand at showdown and decides to muck his hand(since he lost) then I should still be able to see his hand. I remember you were able to do that on every previous site I played on.

That was a misunderstanding. You are correct. Mucked cards at showdown can't be seen. I can't remember a site I've played on that does this but that's the way this site (network) works.
