But seriously, I feel like a couple of the last posters. I have gone out of my way in this forum and in real life to defend Pokerstars and I appreciate(d) (until recently) the way they communicated with and evidently cared for their players.

I am sure your job has gotten a lot tougher in the last days Steve, but I am very disappointed by the way things happend in the last week. I know this isn't your fault, but is isn't ours either.

Recently you were limited to playing only one ring game table at a time due to your participation in a mass sit-out at PokerStars tables. Your actions were in violation of section 1.1 of the PokerStars Terms of Service that states:

“Subject to the terms and conditions contained herein PokerStars grants the User a non-exclusive, personal, non-transferable right to install and use the PokerStars poker software ("Software") in order to access the PokerStars servers and play the poker games (the "Games") available (the Software and Games together being the "Service").”

You were also in violation of ring games rules 10 and 11 that state:

10: In general players are expected to be seated with the purpose of playing
11: At tables with more than two seats:
-It is acceptable to be seated but occasionally deny action in certain circumstances, such as being seated to help start a new ring game but not wanting to play heads-up.
-It is not acceptable to remain sitting out at a table (especially an active one) waiting for one of only a few preferred opponents to arrive or sit in.
-In general, seated players are expected to accept action much more often than they refuse it.

We will be happy to reinstate your ability to play up to 24 ring game tables at a time if you provide confirmation that you have read and agree to abide by our Terms of Service and ring game rules. Any future violations of these rules may result in more severe and longer lasting consequences.

If you would like your privileges restored, please first read our Terms of Service and ring game rules:

yeah still trying for at least jan, but it looks like im not gonna be able to make sne again with the vpp reduction.

everything i worked on for an entire year of my life down the drain, and i really only have myself to blame for being stupid enough to trust an online poker site jfc. just hope stars admin enjoys the new condos they are able to buy with the money they basically stole from me to 'put in to advertising'.

I am very sorry to hear that Eskimo, I have followed your progress all year (starting in the LHE forum before you changed games)
I was impressed by your work ethic and I hope the possible changes don't come to late so as not to ruin your work for this year.

While I am still hoping for the same thing, I have lost a lot of faith in Stars and gotten a bit pessimistic about that in the last days. Although if they would make a bad situation right quickly, they would emerge as heroes in my mind like a phoenix from the ashes.

prefop stats are a very small part of the picture

-if you play on a table with 5 nits where NOBODY will put any money in the pot vpp/hand will be low even when you openraise 40% of your hands(just taking down the blinds wont generate much rake)

-if you play on a table with some loose players who dont put any money in the pot postflop either vpp/hand will still be low

-if there are 4 nits, 1 loose player with whom you splash around constantly and play big pots with VPP/hand will be HUGE
