I'm thinking about it and could use some advice.

Currently I can play 24 tables of 100NL 100BB tables without table selecting and maintain a winrate while watching television. The winrate and watching television I think are important because both make it easier to grind for veeps. The problem with this is I get something like .26-.27VPP/hand which is around 430VPP/hr. I remember getting around .33VPP/hand two or so years ago so for SNE chasers at 100NL, it def has gotten harder. For a 50 week 20kVPP plan, that is roughly 46 hrs a week. Currently I do anywhere from 20-30 a week. Here are some ideas that are going through my mind:

A) Do 50BB FR tables of 100NL/200NL mix and try to drop the hrs to 40 or less a week.
B) Do 100BB tables of 100NL/200NL mix. I do not have much experience at 200NL but would be ok with up to a -1BB/100 lose rate at that stake.
C) 16-18 tables of 50BB 6M 100NL. When 50BB tables were first introduced, I used to 10-12 table these games. I was a very slight winner after a sizable sample and wondering if i can atleast BE now with the increased tables. This option would be the most different from what I am currently used to playing right now as I have been playing nothing but 100BB FR for the last few months.
D) 24 table 100NL FR like I am right now but add some SnGs (thinking $54 DoNs?) to decrease the weekly hr to 40 or less.
E) Suck it up, keep doing what I am doing and just do 45+ hrs a week.

I'm not used to doing 40+ hrs of grinding a week. I'm sure winrate would take a hit. I def would need help with time management with work, gf and still getting 40+ hrs in. I'm hoping someone like waterfall or ne1 who's gotten SNE around the 100NL level could shine some words of wisdom on this matter.

I'm defintely gonna try to keep up the pace in January and If i fail, then ninja nova here i come.

guess i might as well do it again, why not.

In and going for it. I've just switched to Stars from FTP, and have never put in nearly this much volume. I'll be playing mainly 200PLO, with the whole 50 weeks of 20k VPPs plan. But I'm aiming for 100K+ VPPs in January.

Gotta couple prop bets on whether I accomplish it too, and I'm getting 3:1 (so my friends really think I have no chance).

Anyways, good luck to all. GOGOGO

In.

300K in 2010 and 1.5 mil in 2011.

No idea what I'll end up at this year, moving to a new house in a couple weeks and a baby due Feb 9, and PCA obv, so will prob be a slow start at least.

Sure are a lot of ppl aiming for 2mil+, considering only a few make it that far each year. Guess we'll see how many actually make it.

Best of luck to the new crop of elite grinders.

I did, 4 gigs of ram, dual 2.20 GHz processor, at the very end like last 2 weeks or so of the year, when i would refresh my day on HEM while playing toward the end of the day my computer would lag for a few seconds, but nothing super major, it might have been because at that point my database was WAY too big. I dont know how you guys can do marathon sessions without a laptop though, I dont think I will EVER go to just a desktop. Anytime u gotta use the bathroom, walk over and get something to drink (if my wife isnt home or is just to pissed off at me to get it for me) etc. it's not too big of a deal. Definitely needed it for all the tons of marathon nonstop sessions i did to end the year, it would have been tough getting SNE for me dropping limits without it.

Quick answer : 2740.

For more paces, go to fpppro.com , they're quite exhaustive about this kind of stuff.

If you can't divide 1,000,000/365, then you probably don't need to worry about going for SNE.
